Question. Who came up with the humidifier method??? Why use it(how is it different from regular frozen ice/freezer process)? Is it safe to eat the ice it produces.

I thought of using a humidifier because I couldn't make any frost by leaving the freezer door open. I knew the humidifier throws out water mist so I assumed it would turn into Frost if the temperature was really cold. Fresh humidifier frost is Really soft and has like a "powder" texture. I can make alotttttttt of frost fast by using a humidifier vs trying to make frost by leaving the freezer door open. The longer the humidifier frost sits in the freezer the better the taste and texture
