Wallace & Gromit in Project Zoo - Countdown Bleck 

Oh my gosh I loved this game as a kid! It was my first GameCube game along with double dash and battle for bikini bottom. I had no idea anyone knew about this game. Nice video!

HOLY CRAP! SOMEONE ELSE KNOWS THIS EXIST! Back, long long ago in the age of 2005 this was one of my favorite platformers. While other people grew up with Banjo Kazooie or DK 64 or even super Mario sunshine. This was my open world collectathon platformer. Sure the game had graphics that literally give me a migraine if I play too long (not kidding) and sure when I was a kid I got lost in the mine and volcano levels for weeks and now I can beat the game within two hours. And sure the game is so glitchy Walice can just disappear or get stuck in a wall and one time I got him to walk into the ocean out of bounds. just by calling a bunch of times.. But something about it just oozes charm. Something about it from them getting the original voice actor to the distinct weapons to the level design that felt so open but also was like a puzzle in which places you went and what things you did. This game felt gigantic as a kid, there was just so much space and so much to do. Even now I'm amassed at the amount of stuff crammed into these spaces. I'm surprised you didn't bring up the music. Don't quote me on this but I think that depending on where you are in the level the music will change. The soundtrack is pretty good but nothing spectacular with one exception. I really enjoy how atmospheric the ice level track sounds. It's hard to explain without having the level play in front of you but it sounds like someone has built a factory in an iceberg which is exactly what the level is. It's soothing but it also worked so well with the level. I just don't know how they get that vibe and yet still have this very nice sounding music piece. Go listen to it. A very under appreciated piece of music in my opinion. Ok rambling over. Thanks for the memories Bleck. I think I might need to play this again soon!

My brother got me this for the PS2 for my birthday when I was about 13/14! I'm 26 now and found this game not long ago in storage, and I found my ps2 so I played it again earlier :D

How fitting I was listening to Nick Park's Desert Island Discs yesterday. This is true British anime. 1:15 Former. Ouch. 1:49 Champion's classic Northern British we should use it more. Man, I miss the noughties sixth Gen 3D Platformer game. 3:50 Best dance in gaming. BTW, what's your favourite Wallace film? Mine's Loaf and Death. :P 7:22 Needs more Desert Levels to be the "best game ever" OMG PORRIDGE. BEST FOOD WEAPON IN GAMING. Should make a countdown on that. That Union Jack out of Fish and Chips though.

I think a certain quote in this video can describe my thoughts on this. "If I had to describe it in a single word, perfection. Two words, TOTAL perfection." I absolutely loved this review. All of your points were valid and well thought out, the humour was spot-on, and having played this game myself years ago, I pretty much agree with basically everything you've said about the game in this review. Though I'm gonna have to go anti-AsteroidGate for this one. Sorry Will, but Asteroids is just too perfect. XP

CRACKING REVIEW GROMIT I watched the movie "Curse of the Were-Rabbit" when I was, like, nine or something and that pretty much got me into the whole Wallace and Gromit thing. The wacky inventions that Wallace made were easily my favourite part of the show hands down. 1:58 - top-tier ERB memes 5:18 - the reverse-Michael Vick 7:12 - YES SUCH GOOD MUSIC--aww it's only temporary 7:30 - always thought that pesky lad was hiding something behind his smile 7:42 - breakfast jokes, at least it's not about airline food 11:45 - omg I totally remember "The Wrong Trousers" 12:23 - work it harder make it better do it faster makes us stronger 15:48 - such a British score Genuinely made me laugh many times, this review. Have you heard of Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures from Telltale? It's a point n click adventure series that take place in 4 individual chapters, and is easily obtainable on PC through places like GOG or Steam.

This game was an absolute classic to me that I never bothered playing more than 2 levels

I only with the intro and outro were animated with stop-motion models. But I guess they didn't have the budget for that.

But fuck you for saying Asteroid is a bad game, it's gold. Same as Space Invaders and Pac-man, totally, yup. I think you could've held off on the swearing until part-way into the video, throwing obscenities all over the place in the first two minutes of a video about a friendly British man and his dog wasn't a good blend. I suppose you made up for it with an actual compliment towards Super Mario Sunshine. It wasn't until the thirteenth minute where you actually said "review" that I realised this was supposed to be a review. Surely there's space for that word in the description, no? One of my favourite parts of the video was the realisation that you actually... like the game. I was expecting a 16-minute slag-off-fest, and instead you actually enjoy a game I've never heard of. Champion. Although I'm more into your countdowns, this was still the best video you've ever made as you edited it next to me in person. Good work.
