WALLEYE FISHING AND BOONDOCKING AT BANKS LAKE EASTERN WASHINGTON 🤪

Every year my family and I take a little road trip to Banks Lake in Eastern Washington to go camping and fishing. For the past couple of years I have been going out in my little kayak fishing for walleye. Now this year with my new clackamax drift boat I was able to explore new waters I have never been to before, and has opened a whole new door for me. Now instead of me going by myself, I can take my whole family out fishing! When we went out for our yearly trip in April, the conditions were perfect! Little to no wind, super sunny and hot with flat, calm water. For our gear to catch these walleye we were using 1-3oz bottom walkers depending on the conditions. Most people don’t use flashers while walleye fishing, but I use my custom made triangle flashers for extra attraction. I love using a black and gold pattern for the flasher! Then a 3ft leader of 12lbs line to my walleye lure that is also black and gold color. For the blade I have my Mr. Wormy Blade which gives the lure a very unique, spin and wiggly action which entices the fish even more and gives more action to the lure than other blades on the market. Then for hooks I have size 2 Angler Innovation Sickle Style hooks in a double hook setup that is at least 2 inches apart from each other. Finally For bait we have the good old classic night crawler. For extra scent I use the Procure Trophy Walleye scent gel. We were fishing In about 25-40ft of water with structures of sandy flats and sloping depths. After about 2 hours of fishing we finally hooked into a nice one weighing in at about 4lbs; the only fish of the day. But it was a slow day for everyone on the water. Also my littlest brother Seth loves fish and was in love when he saw the fish. He wanted to take a picture with it and was mesmerized! Lol!
