Once a next in line to the throne has children, his or her siblings get knocked further down the line of succession. Before King Charles had children, Prince Andrew was in line after Charles, Edward and then Anne. Now Prince William is in line, then his three children and then Harry 5th in line. 🙂

True, had Edward not married Wallace and had kept his throne, married someone suitable and had children, (heirs to the throne) with this person, then Queen Elizabeth's father would not have been King etc. This would have meant she would not have been Queen. However if Edward had remained King, not married Wallace but had no children then his brother the late Queen's father would have been next in line. So even if Edward outlived the Queen's father, our late Queen Elizabeth would have taken the throne when Edward died, because she was next in line after her deceased father. Just that she would have taken the throne 20 years later than she did at about age 45. At least her children would have not still been so young. Charles would have been 24, Anne about 21, Andrew about 11 or 12 and Edward 8 or 9 years of age. Charles and Anne would have been able to help the Queen with their younger siblings.

Only thing in camilla's favor was Charles could not let her go and get on with his marriage. Granted Diana was not without her flings. She wanted the royal title, he needed a wife who would look the other way. They both got what they wanted until they no longer did. Charles and camilla should of never been granted permission by the queen to marry, it was only to save face and give her soiled/spoiled son his way. The abdication was the right thing to do, but the queen never forgave him for doing so.

And, as it turned out, he was well and truly under her spell, as he didn't want to give her up. True to form, and like a typical narcissist, Wallis would continue to write to her ex-husband, complaining about how unhappy she was, how Edward would soon replace her with a younger model (yeah, right, not while she was ensuring he remained addicted to her!), and so on. This is what narcissists do. They keep in touch with exes, often stringing them along, for continued validation and attention. Not because they want them back. I have no problem with narcissists, other than the fact that they are disordered, and as a result are attention-seeking, greedy, selfish, jealous, vindictive, woe-is-me victims, liars, arrogant, entitled, etc. And in that mindset of theirs, anything goes. Anything can be justified. For example Harry and Meghan's treatment of Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth in their final years. Harry found in Meghan a kindred spirit, and someone who is as narcissistic as he is. Sadly, their fights behind closed doors in Montecito will be EPIC. Meghan has what she always wanted. Money, status, and fame. Harry, on the other hand, has lost everything. Sadly, that's his problem, but I can assure you their marriage won't last, and their two children will necessarily become dysfunctional adults. All children of narcissists do, unless they were blessed with a generous dose of empathy, and a good life partner. Like William. Edward would necessarily have been narcissistic too, given his upbringing, but he was a weak man ready for manipulation by a stronger, crafty, and clever woman. As students they hung out at similar venues etc. Not exactly stalking in my opinion. Even after student days, they had similar places they liked to go to with friends. So chances are when they had Broken up at one stage they would still bump into each other or still hang out at certain places with friends that both did when together. So no Catherine definitely not a stalker. She dated and went out after William broke it off with her for a bit.
