@@adipro4679 you should actually watch the anime, they pay a lot of attention to detail and they do have their fingers on proper chords!! its so cool :)
Idk if you noticed but it’s the guy that made this wallpaper that modified it, in the anime when she does those chords we don’t see the front of the guitar
I'm so thankful to KyoAni for making K-ON. Watching this scene after soo many years made me happy. Im 32 years old but this Anime will always have a special place in my heart. What a master piece...
Same here mate , I've been a kyoani fan since suzumiya haruhi until now and I can assure K-on still has this one very special place deep in my heart :( even comparing to the modern big titles .
same.. kyoani is god, it was the best, my favourite are violet evergreen, k on , hyouka, Suzumiya Haruhi, anyone same? oh I missed the good old days when the school anime were much more then the isekai......
A little note for people who hate the fact it doesn't show the right cords: This is a loop made by a fan, not the original clip. The original clip cuts to other characters.
@@adipro4679 The manga is worse than the anime for numerous reasons, among them include: less expressiveness in the character designs, weaker characterization, less detailed art (especially when it comes to the background art), a repetitive format for the jokes (common amongst 4-komas), less emotional payoff, unnecessary fanservice, the characters aren't anywhere near as interesting or as fun as their anime counterparts, less side characters, etc. The manga is mediocre, but the K-ON! anime is a masterpiece. The anime is a vast improvement over the source material.
Exactly! I was playing a few other nice soloing songs earlier, and I remembered this, and started learning it and soloing over it. The chords are easy, but the tone of it is god tier
I ended up binging both seasons in 2 weeks. The best 15 days of 2021 for me. It brought back so many memories of me watching this in our old house in 6th grade (2012). I miss K-On soo much
Yui is the most calm and happiest character in anime that I'll watch yui is the most perfect friend, if you have friends like yui you don't want to lose them😭❤️❤️
The game itself has to have the right one for me for one more and it has been more of an option than a game that is a bit too easy and not enough of it is just like a little game and I think the best thing for me for one more to do more for more and then I play the same one and the more game is just a game I have more of the same one game but the one that is the game it takes forever and more more than the one that has more to play and I can’t even get more coins than I am I love this app and the same game it keeps crashing when you have more levels to do so it has a little better and the same thing that you can add game to me is a good one and one game I have a little bit of a play and the one thing is that the same game play it and it just needs a game to keep the play more like the same thing to. (Autocorrect= I agree)
One of my favorite scenes in the show. I love when the series just pauses for a bit and shows just how passionate these girls are about their craft. Just showing them absolutely loving what they do. Ritsu falling in love with drumming all over again is a close second.
For all the people commenting that it pains them to see the fingers don't move on the fret, this video scene is LOOPED. While yui was playing this, there are many scenes showing the school and the students. She was only shown for a few seconds. Why do people throw hate so much and not just simply enjoy the damn music
It's _really_ hard to animate instruments, especially string based ones like guitars or electric bass. They probably looked at the budget and realized they had to pick either really good audio, or really good animation and chose audio since, well, it's a music anime. That Les Paul sounds so authentic and crisp, they probably recorded on the real thing. Recording every little audio thing they do on the instruments in the show and making it sound as good as it does probably wasn't cheap to pull off.
@@amideadyet268 Its the fact that this anime went HARD on production. The voice actors know how to play the instruments and actually sing the songs, which isn't very common. I think some of them had to learn how to play while in production. Which makes this show even awesome-er than it is. The animation is superb as well but that's Kyoto Animation for you 💘
Watching this makes me regret not trying to learn new stuff back in highschool with new people such as musical instrument, sports or random clubs. Just like k-on I could've made friends with amazing people who like those things they are passionate about.
There’s something so satisfying about the solo I don’t know what it is it’s probably just a rhythm but like it’s just so satisfying and I always come back to it
just started watching this show, and i’m in love. currently in the hospital before surgery trying to finish this show. Fucking loved how they started season 2 like this. Gonna try in finish season 2 after surgery in my hospital bed 😂
After all this year with all the new Girl bands series emerging.. Yui Hirasawa playing her guitar alone in the empty light music room is still legendary. Even though they are not an idol group.
They even address it in the show that Yui is actually quite talented. Like, how she is able to pull off certain techniques without even knowing what they are. Besides, while being quite the airhead, she's actually pretty dedicated when it comes to her guitar and the light music club. So yeah, that's why she's able to make such progress.
Honestly,I love this.It also hurts in a way, because it makes me think about how the shows going to end (which I've been procrastinating),as well as how they/I'm going to be graduating. Not sure if I'm ready, but it's going to happen enyway.I also love the humming to the tune.
Now you have a good reason to watch the entire series. At the very end you'll find yourself in tears of both joy and sadness. The second season is truly a masterpiece.
This clip and version of the song always makes me feel emotional because to me, it feels like this is something Yui is doing in her past time, waiting for the next adventure that may never come since season 3 hasn’t been announced. So it feels like a looping Void that Yui has to endure to wait until the next event she can attend. That’s what I think of this video. The version is also super melancholy sounding compared to the actual song which fits with my idea of the clip!
Just finished K-On today, the ending really hit me in the heartstrings. Gotta be honest, I hear this and feel hurt, sad and happy at the same time. I also feel worry for my future too, but, that’s irrelevant lol.
I almost to forgot to watch this today; it always makes feel better after a stressful day at work. I love K-On, and even though they're not a real band, HTT is my favorite band of all time.
When this song was played at the freshmen show in season one, that's when the whole show changed for me. It was beautiful and everything the series was about and all the future ambitions of this show and this band just hit on all cylinders. The drum flourish, the super quick cuts of the girls getting into the zone, the lights hitting the stage that fraction of a second after the song kicks in, Mio admiring then covering for Yui in the best depiction of a brain fart I've ever seen then, their inner monologue so in synch that it was played as a conversation, the song so simple and heart melting Mio and Yui singing like angels with the trimphant guitar lead soaring on top and lyrics saccharine but earnest, Ui clapping for her sister with pride, Azusa stretching on her tip toes to see the band. It all came together for me in that moment and all the fluff episodes I'd been writing off up to this point as cute girls doing cute things just snapped into place. All of it had purpose to build up to this moment and other moments like it. I realized there is a goddamn genius working on this show. Still gives me chills. Opening the second season with that song and showing the characters all coming back together to recapture moments like that could not be more appropriate. Brilliant.
Well said, and I agree completely. Everything before “Freshman Reception” was a great start but there was plenty of room to fall flat or fly. This episode proved that K-on! was truly special.
This is so refreshing to me. I watched k-on 9 months ago, the time when I still like anime. And now my life got 10x harder in span of 9 months lmao. Good thing to see this vid and took me back to memory lane
anime: started air 11 YEARS ago video: uploaded 9 months ago comments " *one hour ago*" Now that's how you know how influential and popular k-on is so stop calling it "Moe Trash"
Idk man, I just rewatched it, and while the 1st season is gold, the 2nd season is kinda, I can see why people called it "moe trash"... I don't agree with it but I can understand why...
K-ON will forever be one of the most legendary anime's out there and will always have a special place in my heart as one of my if not most favorite anime ever
Hey! ¿Have you seen Oregairu? K-ON is one of my most favorite anime ever too, and i really love how Oregairu it's going, so i recommend it to you. Maybe you will appreciate it.
I discovered this anime beginning of middle school and now I’m fresh out of high school. This show will forever remain in my heart. K-on will always be #1.
Okay, for all of you who are confused as to why Yui only uses 1 chord, it's because the video is edited, in the actual scene she does change chords and her hum is less audible (Thanks Kai 760 for the correction) I hope this clears that out, and thanks for watching this masterpiece of an Anime it means a lot to me, kinda, in a way
I always liked how these high school kids were able to afford all this high end gear like actual Gibsons. When I was in high school, we played our crappy sub-$200 Epiphones and LTDs and Ibanezes, and we liked it xD
watched a few videos when Musicians compare how Japanese people does their Chord progression to their songs. And gotta say, K-on's musicality is crazy. Each song has wild chord progression even the bass has it's own crazy ad lib riffs. Mad respect to Mr. Hyakkoku.
guys pls calm down the animation was in a loop SKDJSJHDJD the original video had scenes of the other band members while Yui played the guitar, in the real anime she would switch chords because.. this is Kyoto Animation we’re talking about
For Guitarist who wants to play this Heres the chord:3 Intro: Bbmajor7 - F/C - Fsus4 - F - Bbmajor7 - C9 or C Verse: F - Bb5/G - C5/A - F(8) - C - A7 - Asus4 - A7 - Dm - Bb - C Pre-Chorus: Bb - C7/Eb - A7 - D7 - Bb - Csus4 - C Chorus: F - C - C#dim - Dm or A7 - F7/Eb - Gm - A - Bb - C(6x) For the strumming I suggest you to just learn it by hearing it by your ear Also this is quite similar to the full version of the song(the chords) also Im gonna add the ending part on the full version of the song Ending: Bb - C - C7/Eb - F7/Eb - Bb5/G - C - F - Bb5/G - C5/A - F/A - Bb - C - C7/Eb - F7/Eb - C - Csus4 - F
An actual gibson one or an epiphone? im planning on buying an epiphone cuz god knows I cant afford a gibson xD maybe if I had mugi's eyebrows but sadly not
Fun fact: in k-on, the drummer, Tainaka Ritsu a.k.a ritsu-chan really wants Yui to join the band club (The light music club) since the club will be dismantled due to insufficient member clubs...and that’s how the show begin However,in BTR, Here’s the Nijika who also the drummer invites Hitori(Bocchi) to join the band since they need a guitarist... so i think that this is also one of the referrence that can be recognised😂
@@ilohoa Oh shit, nice! hope your fingertips don't hurt too much. You should check out 7th chords after your done with your basic shapes, they're super cool.
@@Crouton- thanks for the advice! i just received my guitar today and played for idk 6-7h maybe 😂😂 but I really a strap asap because it's so heave 😭 And my hand is small so some chords are hard for me as F for example and using 4 fingers require to have length in fingers 😂
saw this on wallpaper engine like 1 month ago, rewatched k-on. thought it would be time to get an electric guitar. came back cause i finally managed to play this. i love k-on, and im glad i decided to get an electric cause of it.
The scene this is from is what inspired me to try my hand at playing guitar again, and wouldn't you know it, my local music shop had a Les Paul Standard in red sunburst. It's an Epiphone, but I can't hear the difference. One day I'm going to finish learning this song and blast the amp outside.
Disturbing the peace, also known as breach of the peace, is a criminal offense that occurs when a person engages in some form of unruly public behavior, such as fighting or causing excessively loud noise.
How is your success today? Its so difficult for me now... Because these words sounds non melodic on my language... But we gave "Fuwa fuwa time", "Dont be lazy" and etc🐣
@@ytngw my broke ass can't relate I can't even buy a guitar smh :< and also i don't have time to study to play different kinds of instruments but I really wanna learnnn ಡ ͜ ʖ ಡ
seeing ppl just finding this now and loving it even though they havent watched the anime yet makes me really happy bcs i always watched k-on since i was a kid and it made me really happy, everytime i find a clip from k-on it reminds me of my childhood when i didnt have to worry abt anything and also the music in this anime really comforted me a lot so if u havent watched it, WHAT ARE U WAITING FOR
Сейчас я играю на акустике и на электрогитаре. Разный рок-н-ролл играю, вспомнил как в 2015 г. сел за гитару, благодаря этому аниме! Можно сказать мне это аниме детство подарило! 😊😊😢😢❤❤❤
