If you use 2 or 3 roll at a time depending on how big the job is you will have less wastage as the odds are a different roll will match up with the previous roll without the wastage.

I don't know what this is showing people except foolishness. Hang length 1 and length 3 then length 2 and 4 in that order. Alternate. Chances are you have less waste. Some people do this for a living...
