Walmart Spark Deliveries - Scammers All Around! 

Yeah I don't think these guys are getting "better" orders. But they're getting more swings, to put it in baseball terms.. the more pitches you see, the more homeruns you'll hit.

$12 is reasonable depending on the number of items being shopped for/delivered. When you leave a note on the order drivers don't see it until we're routed for delivery at the end. Frankly, if I see a cash tip note, I don't count on it because it so rarely happens. Your order will deliver quicker if you leave your tip on the order instead of a cash tip note. Our decision to take a delivery is based on the funds that we're confident we will receive. Walmart's base is the best around, $11 for express shops. $7 for scheduled curbside orders (1-3 stops). Being 8 miles away, a $12 tip will surely be picked up quickly but only if the driver sees it up front.

@@firststatedelivery thank you so much. I’m glad I asked. I was trying to give a cash tip thinking no taxes will be taken out so it’s better for the driver. Now I’ll just add it to the delivery. Thx

​@@LillyAnnHouston$23/24 for 8 miles (16 with dead miles) isn't bad, but it really depends on what you are asking to be delivered. If the item count is high or its a major burden such as multiple cases of water, that can have an impact on who takes it. Believe it or not, it's a lot of work to shop for someone else and deliver their goods. Just the delivery service by itself is a risk, especially if you don't know the garenteed pay. The time and effort it takes to actually shop for your items means they are missing on opportunities elsewhere. Personally, I would say it's an average order with those miles. I wouldn't be overly enthusiastic about picking it up, but I would as long as the items weren't unreasonable. Also, we can't see any added promise to cash, and chances of being baited are astronomically higher with using cash as incentive. I would not risk it, 'cause if I didn't recieve the promised bid amount, I would be losing money and time by taking that order.

Curbside orders are included in the $99. Shop and deliver is an express service. Spark drivers do both.

I think greed will end them eventually, but it'll take a while. Typically, they are all living in 1 house, so their expenses are super low.

lol they could be getting housed in a tax funded shelter so they can do this forever 🤣🤣

Ours did grocery checks for a good week. They stopped, but I haven't seen my local scammers in a few days except for the ones that are part-time, scamming, part-time legit. Now they're behaving full-time.

Yes, a lot of our stores have a little buggy port for the horse and buggies. We have a lot of Amish and Mennonites here.

Yup. I live near one. It's like a big open stable. My doctor's office has hitching posts, as well.

When I call support it's always an Indian accent. The scammers at my store are Haitian. I haven't seen them in a week or more now.

Typically about the same. The times the drop vary by store. The store actually sends them out, not the app.

It's against Spark terms of service. It's dangerous as well. I don't know if these guys are using their own accounts or if they bought fake ones.. but the person showing up to your door aught to match the name you're given.

Isn't it ego and selfishness to "team up" in order to break the rules and get over on the competition? Don't kid yourself 😂

Ashly......would you like some cheese with that wine...lol. If not putting carts back bothers you then shop at Aldi's or Ruler Foods where you have to shell out a quarter in order to get a cart!! You never see shopping carts out in the parking lots at those places😊

@kevinspahr6632 listen.. I'm pretty fat and I walk the carts 15 yards to the corral. I'm saying it's lazy and very annoying.
