Really digging what Colt and the rest at Walrus are doing with the Mako series. The reverbs are great and sound amazing.

Massive Kudos to Walrus for putting Manly midi connectors on the top of the unit. Out live those flimsy adaptors will break at a gig and then...you have no midi at all. Sure some would have liked top mounted in/out jacks...but considering the availability of direct 1/4" connectors (no bale length...just a connector)..a very smart trade-off,in my book. Great pedal!! And to boot: no tricky software to deal with...just get to the web browser and that's it!!!! I wish all companies did things this way. Make the User happy NOW...not some elusive ..."wait for the new software blah blah blah "..or "Hey we didn't want to spend on road worthy Midi jacks so now you gotta deal with these flimsy adaptors...good luck peeps!". No..Walrus did such a great job here.

I have the D1, same design. They look entirely different side by side. Boxes are totally different. The knob layout is the only similarity. Both amazing designs

Nothing against the Flint (the only Strymon Pedal that I liked), but the Flint has two Springs and a Plate, this has 6 Reverb Engines plus Presets.

the swell thing comes from the knob "swell". The glitchy thing comes from the RFRCT algorythm.

So wait its a $350 reverb pedal and it can't do surf rock? And before anyone gets their feathers rustled, EHX's Oceans 11 and 12 are both far more affordable and just as capable... I don't get the appeal of pedals like this or even Strymon and Chase Bliss pedals, just to be flashy I guess.

@@mindgoblin7068 To be fair, being that this is a multi-reverb unit it may not have the best spring sound in it. IMHO, the Source Audio True Spring pedal is the way to go for that particular sound.

@@Topsy_Krett Agreed. Spring is a real tough one because usually it goes for one of two vintage spring tank sounds, this one falls kinda in the middle which isn’t a terrible thing.
