Richly endowed with devotion and preparation. I regret that my many visits to the UK didn't include Walsingham.

I personally as a Catholic dont mind this what's so ever,its great to see people like Anglicans dedicating services to Mary.My question is why is there a screen behind the alter in use blocking the view of the high alter,like it doesnt make sense as well because the candles around it are lit

Interesting, and no doubt very inspiring for those taking part. I feel less and less inclined to be carried away by this kind of atmosphere and ceremonial these days. The incense makes me think of the dust clouds rising above Aleppo and places where so many people are being slaughtered because of other people's senseless pride, greed and violence.The music doesn't speak of divine harmony, but of the soulful wailing of human beings helpless in the face of their destroyers. We must ask Our Lady to do all she can for us in our disgraceful arrogance. Miserere nobis! Thank you, John!
