We really enjoyed this series. We just got Netflix so we just watched all 6 season. It was like when you finish a great book you hate to put it down. Like saying goodbye to a good friend.
As great as the series was the book are even better. A different tone at times but just as enjoyable. The relationship between Walt and Vic in the book is different but not in a bad way.
This was such a surprising series as I discovered it on Netflix recently. Robert Taylor is such a marvelous actor and he really brought everything to his creation of the Walt character. And Katee Sackhoff is wonderful as well. The good cast makes this series a stunner. I haven’t been affected by a series in a long time but this one sets the scripts on fire. The chemistry between the two leads just can’t be ignored. The reticence of Walt and Vic to acknowledge their feelings for each other as they stumble around in other relationships is sometimes tough to watch. You know they are meant for each other. When Vic isn’t there for him for whatever reason Walt’s yearning is almost palpable. And it’s the same for her. The writers could not ignore their chemistry on screen. And neither can we. I’m so disappointed this series was cancelled by Netflix. The story needs to continue.
*gasp* I just finished watching season 5 episode 10 tonight and started googling to find some way that could make Vic's baby Walt's. I know how babies are made but c'mon! These two (3) need to be together! This montage was awesome.
Mary Stroot I finished right now and thought about the same thing. Maybe with some drunk flashbacks, like they did it with Travis, maybe Walt could be the other guy. Did you read the books? Did they come together there? It is so sad, it take so long until season 6.
Ka Mi no I have not read the books and I'm not sure how close the show is written to the books either. Patience is a virtue (and I wish I had more of it..right now!! Ha!).
I just can't stand! He loves her and she loves him. Oh Brother what about the baby. There has to be a way for Vic and Walt be be together. What about Travis? I don't know who I can wait till season 6. What about Henry? I wish it had a longer season.
Elizabeth Schaal that's exactly my thoughts. The first 3 seasons they had a great chemistry but in season 4 there were almost nothing and then these horrible doctor I didn't liked her at all. Season 5 was better the chemistry was there again. I dont't like the baby plot, I hope they make it Walt's. Didn't he showed up in her trailer with a sixpack beer? Or was she there pregnant allready? I can't remember!

They should have been already together. The fact that after 5 years and before the last season they are still not together seems to be unreasonable decision by show creators . Baby plot was rather lame too.
I think Walt and Vic should have been together as a couple (lovers) from the start of the show as you could see they in love with each other from back then but at the end they got together and I hope they stay together forever and they make more of the show as I think it should never should have ended at season 6 episode 10

hipsbeforehands what a great video. I hope in season 6 they finally come together. I hated the last scene when he comes with the bottle and she was gone. I wish they would make the baby Walt 's somehow.
i really think that vics baby is gonna end up being walts,i think theres gonna be a thing where walt and vic had a night together that they havent told us about and it will be revealed in season 6 and the baby is gonna end up being walts!!
Cute video, but READ THE BOOKS! No pussyfooting around. Vic just hauls off and jumps Walt's bones, then tells him she'll let him know when she "requires his services again." They continue their fun, back and forth picking on each other throughout the stories, while Henry and Walt remain steadfast friends. The television show ruined the real Longmire stories in so many ways. Read. The. Books.
Bob Collins I tried to read the books, but I honestly just enjoyed the characters of Walt and Vic better in the show. To each their own, I guess. I love them as a couple either way. Despite their differences, age and otherwise, both versions just work somehow!
Katie Northrup I’m crazy about both the video presentations and the books. Craig is able to do and say more in the books than can be presented on screen. Their both great little pieces of work; loaded with nuances, historical facts, and lots of humor. IT’S THE BEST!!!

I never wanted him to end up with her. She just doesn’t’t fit with him.. Every time she had a job with him. She was so busy trying to look sexy and get his attention, that she dudn’t Fit the part of a good deputy! She should have ended up with Eamen, (sp?). I never liked her for Walt,.. The second lady he was with, I can’t remember her name, was better for him. I wish they would make a new season, I really miss the series!
