This was so cool! I’m only 26 so I didn’t go to Walt Disney World until December 2000. And I forever mourn that I sadly didn’t get to go on 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, and many Epcot classics World of Motion, 1983 Journey Into Imagination, and of course Horizons. It was so wonderful hearing you interview someone who worked on Horizons. About six months ago I attended a presentation Tony Baxter did on Journey Into Imagination and it’s honestly really sad how much worse it’s been for almost 25 years now. Baxter himself has said many times he’d love to bring it back to it’s original brilliance and it’s really sad that Disney still hasn’t pursued it.
@@KeepingtheMagicAliveI was at that meeting too and I spoke to him. Sadly I never did let him know the third version was going to be temporary until the ultimately cut Project Gemini happened. But when I first saw him I was speechless. Just imagine Mugman's reaction when he saw that baby crib in Cuphead's thrid Season and that was what my reaction was like. I even sounded exactly like him in that moment.
