Excellent video! As a huge fan of Mickey Mouse my entire life, this book looks absolutely incredible! I put this on my Christmas list and definitely hope to receive it in a few weeks! :)

There are three chapters in the large edition that do not appear in the small edition. Two of them are "Mickey in the Air" and "Unfinished Rhapsodies". I would like to know what these two chapters are about (I am thinking about which edition of the book to buy).

I have The Walt Disney Film Archives and it's one of my most favorite Disney books ever, it's a piece of art on its own, I wondered why the Archives had so little on Mickey and when this book was announced I understood why. I wish I could afford it but atm I can't :( I wanted to ask, does the book cover the current Mickey shorts that are being released? Are they included in the last section? Or does it stop before that? Awesome video! There aren't enough Disney book reviewers that go so in-depth!

I bought both of these books at the same time, Mickey arrived first. Both are beautiful books, but I really wish this Mickey book would have been in the landscape format. It makes reading a book of this size easier. But as you said it's not a huge deal.

I managed to get both of the Taschen books for 50 bucks unfortunately the Mickey one didn’t have the cardboard box. Also my copy of the archives book is in the same orientation of the Mickey book.

Yeah, sounds like you got the smaller, mass-marketed versions, and not the XXL editions.

Maybe but it’s still definitely worth the price. The store I went to had others by Taschen as well like The Star Wars Archives.

How many Disney publications do you own, not just history? If you have a lot more you should do a collection video.
