Funny thing though how much safer vehicles have gotten since this cartoon was made, and yet just like in the cartoon, "accidents" increase. Portraying drivers as gun welding murders is a nice touch, since it seems most "accidents" today are conscious acts. People CHOOSE to drink and drive, read, text, talk on phone, play music instruments, etc. It seems that speed limits are lowering and new laws are being passed because people CHOSE to ignore previous laws.
I think that lawyer did the voice of Captain Hook. Does anyone else notice how almost every Disney video on RU-vid has a highest rated comment about how good these are compared to most new garbage?
And now writings like that are being spreaded around the world as proof of american intelligence. On a Superman outfits for kids:"Warning! This outfit doesn't gain the ability to fly to it's wearer!" On a oven:"Warning: This device is made only for cooking! Don't use for suicide!" On a lot of food packs:"Warning! Extract the food from the pack before eating it!".
Wow...someone should really remake this with guns instead of cars. Its hard to believe our country was once enlightened enough to realize that its people, not objects that are guilty.
Now that ramming cars into crowds has become popular with terrorists, the analogy is even more fitting. However, road vehicles are *strictly regulated* with various laws, and drivers must undergo government regulated training to prove they are capable and responsible drivers. It should be no surprise that countries with lax traffic laws have the most road deaths. See where the logic leads us?
I actually remember watching this when I was getting my driver's licence, but I was more interested in the cartoon then the lesson it was giving but I did learn something from it.
