Follow us as we make the most of early entry for resort guests at Animal Kingdom then head to Disney Springs for lunch at Chicken Guy and a cheeky ice cream from Salt & Straw. After relaxing back at Saratoga Springs we end up back at Disney Springs for dinner at City Works.

We start the day extra early to utilise the early entry for resort guests at Animal Kingdom. The park is looking extra beautiful as the Christmas decorations have started to be installed and Luke and Daisy enjoy dancing to the Christmas/African style music.
As the Kilimanjaro Safari doesn't start until 08:15 a.m. we decide to ride Na'vi River Journey before grabbing some coffees from Creature Comforts. After the safari we decide to ride a classic favourite - Dinosaur in Dinoland U.S.A.
We decide to get the bus to Saratoga and walk to Disney Springs where Keith is still on the look-out for Michael our favourite ferry boat skipper. We have lunch at Chicken Guy which we all agree is very tasty and good value. Luke and Daisy decide to go back to the resort for some pool time and Keith and Tracey share an ice cream from Salt and Straw and walk the alternative route back to the resort past the golf course and through The Turf Club - taking a look in the resort shop on the way.
After some time relaxing in our DVC one-bed villa we walk back to Disney Springs for dinner at City Works where we enjoy the sports bar atmosphere, great service and yummy food.
