God gave me this song today while in church -in 2024!

I seen this video and started crying, I was 17 yrs.old when we sung this song at my Church and I'm 51 today, I remember we had CHURCH back then.....😭😭🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃Thank you Jesus...

Millennial here, but my mom loves Walter Hawkins. I listened to this song so much as a child; now, singing tenor in my church choir, I sing their part loud (and in tune)! I love the soloists’ energy. This song gets me through some tough days! “Hallelujah” is my favorite vamp.

It seems like Walter Hawkins had a choir and band full of people that are exceptionally talented in their own right. They all really get into it and make you feel the songs.

I first heard about the Hawkins family when I was 16 years old. And still, enjoy the praise music.

I love to play the tambourine, but this man wins the prize. They don't even make tambourines like that any more. I remember that kind. I had to look at this again.

I miss this. So many memories. Rest on Bishop Hawkins. You were legend and you still are.

I know I'm only 37, but my mom loves Walter Hawkins and I've always gravitated to this song. I also have diagnosed brain cancer. Stage 3. I have faith that God will keep me, but if He decides to take me home, I want this played at my homegoing. Especially the part where she sings "why should I wait? I'm gonna praise Him right now."
