They are great. Walther has a performance center trigger , that takes this gun to a whole new level. It's expensive, but for a "trigger snob" like me, it's the bomb.
Mr. Big Swoll, I recently bought a Walther PDP Compact 4” barrel. So far I have 400 rounds through it with zero issues. I love it! Yes, I ask myself the same question. Why did I take so long to buy a Walther! So! I love the PDP Compact so much, I went out and bought a Walther PPQ M2 .45 acp. I’m equally impressed with that pistol also. I have 200 rounds through it with zero issues. Both weapons fit like a custom made glove. Thanks for the video.
Holosun makes a SCS optic specifically made for the PDP. It makes it look like it came from the factory with the optic because it matches up with the slide serrations and doesn't require a plate. Also, It co witnesses the factory sights so you don't have to replace them with suppressor sights. If you decide get an optic that's the way to go.
SCS is too small a window. Best on a Glock 43/p365 sized gun. Better suited dots for a full sized pistol.almost too many to mention nowadays. Rmr,Sro,507,407,507c,Delta Point Pro, Sig Rome Pro, Sig bla bla bla

I bought this gun because of how it felt in the hand- then I took it to the range, and it's the best striker-fired pistol i've ever shot. Great video- perfect explanation of this firearm! Just subscribed to your channel- well done!!
Walther is great! And I'm sure after you've had a chance to shoot it, you'll be even more pleased than you are now. I've had or rented a number of Walthers going back to the PPX and liked all but one. Some Walthers have that pronounced grip curve, and I wondered if I would like it (I did). The only Walther I didn't care too much for was the .22 version of the PPK/s - it took me awhile before I found it only liked to function consistently with hotter ammo, and it had the heaviest DA trigger I've ever experienced. Look forward to hearing what you think after you've had some time at the range with it.
Hey, thank you for that info. I shied away from earlier models too because of the shape of the grip. It looked odd, and I really didn't give them a chance. But the PDP looked different and boy does it feel good. I'm looking forward to some firing time with now.
My uncle just picked this gun up, he was looking at a HK USP or Beretta 92X but after feeling the PDP in hand it all changed 😂 Best part is it is way cheaper than the other two.
I like the HK USP and the Beretta 92X as well. I might try the HK at some point. And I agree with your uncle; Neither of the two feels as hand friendly as the PDP though.
I have the PDP compact. They share sights with Glock. I have noticed more muzzle flip with the Walther PDP Compacr vs a G19 gen 5. But everything else about the Walther is superior to the Glock aside from changing out backstraps. The Glock comes with a caddy for back straps with a built in tool to push the pin out. It's really easy.
Yeah, I had a G22G4 and remember how easy it was to change the backstraps. My S&W M&P's and my FNS-9 are both easy too. Walther, CZ and Canik can benefit from making theirs easier too. I expect a little more muzzle flip with this PDP that I get with my FNS-9 because of the slide weight. But the gun grip is so good and comfortable, I believe it'll be easily managed.
Walther makes a great full size semi auto. I have had a P99 QA for almost 20 years, and I love the feel in hand. Best thing is I have never had 1 jam or misfire, tested a lot of different ammo (over thousand rounds) and it has never misfired on me. Definitely a keeper!
Since buying the pdp I've noticed my grouping has improved 100% and ive always considered myself a satisfactory pistol shooter now even the safty people have commented on my accuracy everything everything in the red I've always owned walthers but 4 inch was the largest i own i have your version and I'm wondering if the extra half inch plus pluce i have a threaded barrel witch brings it up to five inches ever since i installed the suppressor height sights for my rugged obsidian 45acp my shot placements are as good as without my can.

Definitely! I strongly suggest that you store your guns in a climate controlled environment whenever possible. A high quality gun safe with dehumidification measures in place. Make sure they are clean and lubricated also prior to storage.
