What a blessing from Evgeny Nikitin and Anastasia. This really is their dance. And they have the perfect connection. At times, Anastasia´ head movements are so musical it is a unique beauty. In my view, they are stars above the other couples (including Alexey Glukhov and Anastasia).
I find some of the men (even amongst the best ones) seem to break their torso in some places of the choreographies, and some ladies in some places, turn their head and torso too much to the right. Strange. Like they try too much sway everywhere it seems.
Are you supposed to to always dance the 3 delayed? I never heard of that but all of them do it very often. Kind of makes them look out of time and looking like they fall into the next 1 in my opinion.
@@Marina_Ludvigova I know that. I am a dancer myself. My question was about the timing. Let's take the natural spin turn at 0:28 as an example. I don't have a technique book but in WDSF Syllabus at least it says that the timing should be 123 123. I do know that you can dance a lot of figures syncopated as well, but what they dance is 123 12 1, and because of that they have to dance the reverse turn after that as a 23and instead of 123. That is one of the most extreme examples but i think something around a third of the steps that should be placed on 3 are placed between the 3 and 1 wich really puts them in a rush in these moments and because of that the 1 is too late very often.

Or some dancers calculate their steps in such way not to collide with the other dancers. I always understand that I see living people dancing. I saw the dancers slip and fall on the parquet.
As I learned it, if you count 1&2&3& you usually lower on the & after the 3. Some of the couples went a bit overboard and seemed a bit late that's true :D
Good Title - Basic Steps. Because The Basic is missing all together. Quality is not there. This couples dance interpreted basic steps, not the Basic. It would be good if people would understand what Basic means. Maybe one day they will.
