Recovering from my crippling hyperfixation of Hawaii Part II: "I can finally leave! Martha, I'm coming home, sweetie!" Finding out this is yet another Tally Hall side project: "I'M BACK IN THE FUCKING BUILDING AGAIN"
Y'know, I love this song. However, I never noticed how quiet the singer is in both versions. This edit definitely helps.... but I would love to see an official remastered version of this one day
I discovered this song randomly seeing my recommend videos, thinking "huh, Cojum Dip? Isn't that Bora's band? Let's see how it sounds". What i didn't know is that this would become my favorite Tally Hall side proyect song.
The last time our module would ring you Like a lunar bell I'll see you on the moon, until we meet at Tycho And follow the trail Synodic season to come out of hiding Why'd it take so long? Inching out of orbit dividing Where did I go wrong? I'll see you on the moon, where we're throwing a party And as you're gasping for the last of air, you’ll tra-la-la-la-la You give me fifty-nine percent from libration We dance in synchronous rotation The image we see of you has been Just a little late There is no atmosphere to wear down any sharpness It's not how long you wait Synodic season to come out of hiding Why'd it take so long? Inching out of orbit dividing Where did I go wrong? A wise woman said I'm alive Nobody's ever told her she's wrong A paella of space-talking jive I'm as alive as her beard is long I'll see you on the moon, where we're throwing a party And as you're gasping for the last of air, you’ll tra-la-la-la-la Twirling moon dust abound, lung destruction is starting Take your suit off and swim in maria I'll see you on the moon, there's already a party And as you're gasping for the last of air, you'll tra-la-la-la-la No es la locura, en realidad es el amor Now that you've heard it all, there is the door
it really gives me a vision of a famous person who only cared about himself and has done no good deeds getting lung cancer and on his death bed while the heart monitor beeps 'refering to the beeping sounds the song makes' and he illusionates a party as he takes his last breaths
Quick Story, I was curious about the last bit of lyrics that weren't in English and here's what I found "It's not madness It's actually love" Wow, just wow-
3 days ago i was looking for a word in a different language, that sounds alot like "Cojum". i didnt find the word i was looking for, but this group got under my skin!
I used to put both versions on separate tabs so I could listen to both simultaneously. It was really hard syncing them up, so this is a better alternative
I just wanted to share… Moon waltz is the reason me and my boyfriend got together funny story because of a joke ship that’s now very serious, he made a fic with this song as the inspiration of course this is now the song of that ship. a few hours ago when we were getting off payday 2 because he was tired he said ‘I love you’… I’m so in love with him
This sounds like something that would be sung by like... a duo of twin villains with a flair for the dramatic, but one has a softer personality and the other is more rash and impulsive? Idk I have a very clear image in my mind but I don't feel like I'm describing it right edit: the second twin is also a catboy
I think if you take a look at the lyrics, it tells the story of an astronaut stranded on the moon and quite literally running out of oxygen and slowly dying. The metal moments I like to think are him questioning his decisions, what led him to this, fearing what comes next, panicking a bit... and the chorus is the lack of oxygen making him high, and filling him with bliss. I like to think he dies quite literally dancing on the moon, as if there was a ball, euphoric, as his lungs collapse. The last two lines "Now that you've heard it all, there is the door" make me pretty confident that's what's going on
I imagine this in a show: It starts with a flashback of the actor whose life is worse and crueler than fate and then cut to the young man who known as the reaper singing in a stage of where the actor use to be in a play and then swap to the actor in a act like he once act and dance like he was in a play before and then swap back to the reaper sitting while singing holding a rose that looks like the actor's brooch before witters in his hand then dance in a chorus of the first and then both sings in between and lay on each other like a wall in between them and then the actor dancing in a time of before and then both sings and dance together in a near end waltz untill the end of the song where before they bow, the reaper slice the actor's head off taking his soul during the play and the last thing you see after that was a chair in a stage with a rose brooch and a goodbye note from the actor on the chair. Does this looked like part of the moon waltz?
i conditioned myself to associate this song with the binding of isaac bc i listened to it on repeat while playing for like a week instead of the in game music
I imagine this song is sung by a psychotic, lunar-based villain (a killer astronaut or otherwise). I also imagine an animatic concept of a villain!Uraraka and her murderous spree; is the villain AU still going?
What I imagine in this song is some celestial god falling in love with an astronaut who’s stuck on the moon. The being, not understanding the concept the severity of the astronaut’s situation, dances with the astronaut as they slowly freeze up and die, lungs collapsing and all. The lyrics like “a wise woman said I’m alive, nobody ever told her she’s wrong- -I’m as alive as her beard is long (cause the astronaut is slowly dying)” is being sung by the astronaut. The “lung destruction is starting” and “there is no astomphere to wear down any sharpness” is sung by some third party who knows how severe the situation is and is choosing not to follow along, maybe another astronaut who’s dead and singing to the other astronaut
But in my chest I'm so tired. I suppose it has taken more time than I would have thought to regather my strength. I wonder if it has left me in total and I'll have to rebuild that snarling determination from scratch. But I just don't think I have the energy for that. I need to shake this off, no matter how tired I am I need to be able to hold myself up. No matter how exhausted I am I won't let myself slip under the waves. I lived in a hole for so long, just rotting. I will not allow myself to go back.
Gustavo, can you please make the video no longer unlisted I really love this version. It’s the only version I listen to really and I love it a lot and it’s kinda hard to find I have to look through all my playlists of music, which are all very large, your editing skills are really good and honestly you make the song a lot better in my opinion not that the original versions are bad just not as good as this one
I did a reupload of one of the Plankton AI covers and the IFPI had it copyright struck. Not too long after, some video I uploaded 4 years ago also got copyrighted. I then unlisted every single video on my channel to ensure I don't get any additional strikes because my channel will be deleted. As of writing this, I got 39 and 67 days left on the strikes. I'll relist everything after the first one expires
@@GustavoRubio don’t feel too bad about having to keep it unlisted because I can still listen to it so it’s not that big of a deal at least for me. I hope you’re able to get those strikes undone because everything I’ve seen of yours has been both fair use and well made.
@@GustavoRubio thank you for making it listed again if you’re the dog in the profile picture just know that I would rub your belly and give you a treat if you were with me right now
