Keke's family requested that they stay away from the funeral...they could have attended the visitation, if they so desired. I stand by my comments...Wanda's post was poor judgment and tasteless...in short, tacky and disrespectful to Keke's husband, kids, mother, grandfather, uncle, and her sisters...imo
@debbiegwynn2113 , the uncle retracted the statement. He also requested the cast not attend, and it appears some did. Keke was just as awful and maybe more awful than Tisha and Marsau. She took up an offer to destroy their marriage. She never had any other storyline besides that. Tisha said that she and Keke were originally going to work out their previous differences on the show. Keke went left and introduced a new dynamic. Even still, their relationship goes back since childhood and it would be inappropriate for Tisha to not attend and get closure for a relationship that she and Keke referred to as sister-cousins. They're as much family as the uncle. Wanda has the exact same position as he does. She supports her brother Keke's daddy and he supports his sister Keke's mama. It's the viewers that need to stay out of it.

Wanda is an attention seeker. The last thing she should be doing is posting anything online about Keke given the nature of their relationship at the time of Keke’s death. Keke apologized, humbled herself and Tisha & crew rejected her and continued to talk bad about Keke. They have to live with that. Sometimes things happen, and stuff spirals, but it doesn’t mean you still don’t have love for that person in spite of. There have been seasons where I have fought the urge to take my sisters head off, and I didn’t like her at all, but I always loved her. I don’t think it’s fair to expect them not to acknowledge 3-4 decades of memories, because her and Tisha were fighting about petty stuff . We shouldn’t police their grieving process.
I'm proud of Ms. Wanda giving her statement about her Niece KeKe and hopeful both sides of the family can celebrate Keke's life, pray for her husband and children, and prayers for the family to heal and come together to love each other.

When someone passes away and we've treated them right, we feel the loss whole heartily. But if we've dogged them talked about them and drug their name through the mud, guilt and regret are added to the pain. None of us knows the day nor the hour, if we can make things right, we should.
