The vanda orchid was discovered to the world in 1613 by the Jesuit monk Alvin Semedo, who called it "tiao hua", which literally means an air plant. The beauty of the vanda can indeed be called unearthly - her roots literally soar in the air, while reaching a length of more than two meters. Vanda roots, like a sponge, carefully collect valuable moisture and carefully nourish the stem with it. So vanda soars between heaven and earth, turning consciousness and conquering millions of hearts.
