there was someone named Dottie Underwood who was some Soviet assassin that crossed paths with Peggy Carter and was trained in the Red Room. (that's at least what I read in the MCU fandom page) she was in Agent Carter which was a cancelled Marvel-Netflix show.

The first episode was absolutely amazing! I love that in Wanda's sitcom reality simulation, some people are actually breaking through the trance, it's very dark yet thrilling! SWORD is def trying to stop Wanda, I feel like her reality bubble is doing damage to the real outside world. I believe that's Agent Jimmy Woo that was trying to get through to Wanda through that radio. I can't wait to see the rest of this unravels! Monica is obviously a SWORD agent, but she's apart of Wanda's reality so she doesn't know who she is yet. Agnes is def Agatha Harkness because of that cameo broach, I feel like she's an antagonist but she could be looking out for Wanda like a mentor. I feel like Agnes sort of hinted to Mephisto.

I think that Wanda is trapped in some sort of prison and the SWORD people are trying to get her back but she doesn’t want to leave because it has everything she wants

Pretty sure the voice talking to her is Jimmy Woo. That seemed pretty clear to me since the trailer.

I have a strong feeling the commercial breaks refer to significant moments in Wandas past. The Stark Bomb that killed her parents Experimentation by Strucker. I'm expecting to see references to Ultron, Pietro, and Thanos in the next episodes.

This show is a masterclass in how the MCU simultaneously does not take themselves too seriously and at the same time takes their lore and world building incredibly seriously. Mixing classic campy sitcom with a dark story about a lost soul who is either throwing up this dream world as a defense mechanism or trapped here by sinister forces. And without a doubt this will be used to move the MCU forward with an entirely new threat by season's end. Just brilliant.

My theory is that the helicopter was a real helicopter that was turned into a toy when it crashed into the barrier of Wanda's reality...and that 'Geraldine' was actually the pilot of the helicopter that was forced to assimilate into the town's illusion, which is why she hesitated when she was giving her name and might be why she was so afraid at the meeting at first, because her mind was adjusting to the new reality.

The helmet/mask in the intro is belongs to the character of Grim Reaper, who was killed by Wanda in the old "Vision And The Scarlet Witch" comic book. Grim Reaper wanted to kill Vision because Reaper's brother, the character Wonder Man, was used by Ultron to create Vision's brain waves, and Grim Reaper saw Vision as a perversion of his brother.

The Bee keeper suit makes me think of AIM or Advanced Idea Mechanics but I don’t know

I read an interesting theory that the commercials in wandavision were her past traumas: the toaster had stark Industries and when it started beeping it kind of sounded like an explosive; wanda and pietro were trapped in their apartment with a stark industries missile that hadn't gone off. The strucker watch would obviously be when she and her brother were experimented on.

The Helmet is Easter egg for the the Marvel supervillain known as the Grim Reaper and He is also the brother of Wonder Man. In the comics Ultron use Wonder Man brain patterns recorded by the Avengers for use as a template for the synthezoid Vision. Grim reaper later launch a surprise attack against the Vision's new synthezoid family. The Vision is not present at the time, and Grim Reaper is able to severely injure Viv, the Vision's daughter. Vision's wife Virginia is able to fight back, but accidentally kills Grim Reaper in the process, a fact she hides from her husband.His body is buried in the backyard of the Vision's suburban home

the theme song portion for this episode reminded a lot of the Jetsons and I think that’s how my brain immediately decided it was the 60’s but the sitcom theme songs make more sense, I’m just a child lol

The helmet in the ceiling definitely belongs to Grim Reaper, who Vision's robot wife Virginia killed and hid the body of in the 2015 series. That series seems to be a big inspiration for this series, as it involves Vision moving to the suburbs and building a wife and children, before things go horrifically wrong.

I saw some people point out that one of the women said “the devil is in the details” and someone else said “that’s not all he’s in”. And wanda ends up pregnant in the end. In the comics there was a whole deal with Wanda having kids but it being fake and mephisto (basically the marvel devil) was behind it.

The voice calling Wanda's name is Jimmy Woo, the FBI agent turned Sword agent that was in Ant Man and the Wasp monitoring Scott's parole.

I don't know anything at all about Marvel or their stories but it seems to me like they're trapped in some sort of purgatory and whoever is doing this to them is giving them whatever they want to make them happy (a baby, not a bee keeper) and not question it. I really hope they have an episode with Pietro in it, since I feel like it could work well for the sitcom concept. Possible plot: Pietro is coming to visit, and Wanda is worried about her and Wanda looking weird in front of Pietro, since he could probably be more of a traditionalist, maybe even keeping the original accent, and he could also be disapproving of Wanda being with vision because of how he was related to ultron, so he’s trying to get her to come back home with him. Then it could also be a play on this sort of idea in sitcoms, with Pietro trying to get her to leave this world she’s in, but she instead convinces or mind controls him to like vision (or something like that, probably side plot surrounding vision trying to impress Pietro), and she ends up staying, where it’s usually bad when a character forces another one to move away, but here the audience would actually want it. I know it’s unlikely since they probably would’ve announced it at the Disney investor day meeting, but still...

Well the Mask was The Grim Reaper whose long been connected with The Vision, Wonder Man (his brother), Ultron and Hydra. At least one story had him trying to transfer the Vision's mind into his brothers body. After his death Wanda did ressurect him and of course after a later death he's ressurected by Dr. Strange.

I wonder if WandaVision's title has a deeper meaning like this is Wanda's Vision of her perfect reality

Wanda told us at the end of endgame, that she bsically is connected with some remnance of vision through the infinity powers (...they know). So this might all be still connected to the infinity stones. The mindstones lost their physical form, but the power still exists.

The ads are from key points in her life. The Strucker watch is how she got her powers, the beeping toaster could be the sound of a bomb, like the stark bomb that did not kill her. Also kinda sounds like Ironmans blaster charging. I think all the ads are building up to key moments in her life. My guess is the final ad will be the one that reminds her of Thanos killing Vision and that is when she loses it.

I’m enjoying it so far. The humor in the sitcom stuff is hit or miss for me but it’s hard to resist the earnest charm and infectious energy of the cast , particularly Bettany and Olsen. The tonal shifts from sitcom reality to the creepy , unnerving moments of what seems to be the actual reality breaking through are well done and there are certainly some intriguing hints to what’s actually going on. Also , the commercials being linked to past traumas of Wanda are a nice touch..;).

There are a lot of Easter eggs and clues in the show. Geraldine is Monica Rambeau who is Proton and will end up the new Captain Marvel

Theory time. So Vis died in Infinity War, when doing so he lost all his color. If Wanda is in control this is maybe why everything is in Black and White in the first two episodes. She might not have that much control over her powers yet and since the love of her life is colorless so must be the world around them, hiding the truth that she doesn't accept. When the outside world threatens to break in, it gives her a boost in her resolve and thus her powers as well, rewinding time and bringing their world, but most importantly her Vision, back out of greyscale and into the world of color.

Voice sounds like Jimmy Wu's Ant-Man character. Also, first commercial is Stark tech beeping like a bomb (Wanda's childhood). Second commercial is Strucker watch (when she got her powers). The commercials are following her personal history. Next one could reference Ultron, maybe.

The helmet under the floorboards looks more like Grim Reaper's who was the brother of Wonder Man and a known accociate of HYDRA and Von Strucker

27:56 That looks like a cross between Whirlwind's and Grim Reaper's helmets... both are minor villains, the most relevant one being Grim Reaper, whose brother Wonder Man's mental patterns were used as a basis for the Vision's mind (his body was supposedly the original Human Torch from the forties', heavily modified; it's _very_ convoluted)... _probably_ just an Easter egg for comic readers, since none of that has happened in the MCU (except for a Human Torch Easter egg in the first Captain America film, if I'm not misremembering).

The toaster to me was Ultron, could also be the bomb that landed in her and Quicksilver's house. The watch was Baron Von Strucker who experimented on her and her brother. Can't wait to see this play out. Been so good, I grew on these sitcoms, the attention to detail they are doing is awesome, so can't wait for them extend into late 60's , 70's , 80's.. we got 7 more episodes to. Gonna be a fun ride.

The first episode is in the 50s, 2nd in the 60s. Their living room, format, quirks are more I love Lucy, while the 2nd episode is more Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie, both of which transit from black and white to color in their show run (1966 onwards).

Going off seeing him in the trailer I think the Voice is Agent Woo. I have absolutely loved the episodes so far and I still have no idea what's happening.

Jimmy Woo (Ant Man's parole officer) in Ant Man & the Wasp. (He is ex-SHIELD and now part of SWORD I think) In the comics, it kinda explains a little more. I think Wanda is doing all this in the grief of losing Vision or preventing something bad from happening, but I think she starts to lose control and that is why she doesn't remember anything - time periods change - Wanda doesn't want that reality to stop so she rewound the scene.

So, the show is called WandaVision, not Wanda and Vision. That's because this is Wanda's vision of a perfect life. The perfect life she never had growing up and that she had a taste of when Vision was alive. Her mind is warped. No one is doing anything to her, she's just trapped inside her own head. Now whether another entity is trapped with her or not and trying to manipulate her vision of a perfect life, like when things don't go the way she wants and she "breaks character" and tells Vision to save the man choking or when she says "No" to the beekeeper appearing, is yet to be known to us. But Wanda's physical form is at some facility probably in a coma state, in the care of S.W.O.R.D. (probably ordered as such by Nick Fury) who is monitoring her, via the guy watching her vision on television(explaining the commercials) as it plays out and monitoring her vitals on other screens while Agent Woo and potentially others, try different ways to break her out of her "coma" without upsetting the balance of reality that she's creating - as they already know not to try anything drastic or she just becomes worse (like the Rewind, which I believe wasn't caused by S.W.O.R.D.). The end of the season might simply be her waking up, eyes opening, dramatic score, and cut. But after that she'll have some sort of task or drive to pursue something that she learns while in this coma, which will lead her to seek out Doctor Strange. Multiverse of Madness and Spider-Man 3 both deal with multiple universes, which is Marvel's gameplan for not only introducing Mutants, but as a way to explain the recasting of key figures such as Tony Stark, Captain America, Thor and whoever else needs a refresh, a new actor or a new storyline following the events of End-Game. As for who else might be in her heard causing problems, it may very well be Mephisto or some other character, playing his role in the comics. Stop reading if you don't want potential spoilers - Mephisto tricked Wanda into having children, which he then took for himself - a pair of twins. This would explain "For the Children!" chants and the consistent prompts from other characters that pushed her to think about having kids. That person's plan seems to be working as she's not spontaneously pregnant, explained away within her own head as being conceived with Vision when the two beds became one. It doesn't matter that it was just the previous night, as in a dream state such things don't take you out of your imagined reality. Mephito's partner also just happened to be named Agatha Harkness. Shorten those, smash them together and you get ... Agnes - Kathryn Hahn's character.

It's interesting, in the scene where Agnes showed up after the coloured helicopter, there was no sewer entrance in the street. You can clearly see the spot where the sewer is later on.

The stars around "The End" was also very Bewitched.

I know there is a bunch of theories on various characters such as Agnes' husband or Dottie being Maphesto or whoever. I definitely feel like something is up with Agnes she has different energy to everyone else and even though its only been 2 episodes so there isn't much to work with yet, we haven't seen really "glitch out" like Mrs. Heart or Dottie. It'll be interesting to see how she acts moving forward. Plus I think Kathryn Hahn has great energy and would be a cool villain or something.

Okay, here's my crack theory. The hexagon motif and the beekeeper pretty much indicates A.I.M. is involved. One thing A.I.M. is known for in the comics is the Cosmic Cube. The Cosmic Cube has already been seen in the MCU in the form of the Tesseract, which turned out to be a cover (literally) for the Space Stone. I don't imagine we'll see an actual Cosmic Cube in the MCU now, but the way the Cosmic Cube was formed was by creating a force field and then slowly drawing exotic energy into it over a period of years. Five years ago in the MCU the Infinity Stones were "destroyed", which pretty much means they were disipated across the universe. So, A.I.M. having spent the last several years trying to gather Infinity Stone energy into a usable form would be a pretty good nod to their comics history. Then you have Vision, who was killed when the Mind Stone was pulled from his forehead. There's a bit of a history of people becoming trapped in the Soul Stone, and since the Soul Stone, the Mind Stone and the Time Stone were all destroyed together I wonder if Vision's consciousness could have survived but been disipated as well. Perhaps he used A.I.M.s work to try to gather himself together. So, all this Infinity Stone energy has been gathered, Vision is in the mix and Wanda gets drawn to/sent to the location. The energy goes wild and Wanda ends up using the energy to create this world. Then there is Agnes. Agatha Harkness, most likely. Is she manipulating Wanda to use that energy to create her twins? In the comics she did that and it was later found that the whole deal was involved with Mephisto, who is rumored to be showing up in this series. Is she doing it to help Mephisto, or to fight him? Is she going to help Wanda to escape after the twins are created? Why does she seem confused in the trailer?

I think Wanda is consciously aware something isn’t right and subconsciously aware that she’s the one doing this. She’s probably not completely ignorant hence why she almost gets completely defensive when Dottie starts accusing her.

I think the others in the town are not going by their real names. They're essentially playing characters in a TV show. So the names they give are the names of their TV show characters, not their real names. So when someone stumbles over their name, it's a moment of the person breaking character, if you will, trying to remember a line they've forgotten.

I think the Voice on the Radio is Jimmy Woo. He former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who was recruited into the FBI. was assigned as Scott Lang's parole officer, making sure he stayed under house arrest after he escaped from the Raft.

Another set homage, this time to Bewitched. This set is being shot from the patio windows, which was almost never done in Bewitched. Sort of hides it from most observers until the panoramic shot at the end as the color is brought in. Also really loved the opening cartoon which felt half Bewitched and half Jetsons.

@Blind Wave think the dream thing might have to do with the house of M event in marvel comics where Wanda is the main issues with her reality warping abilities.

People seem to be assuming that this is something being done to Wanda, that she's been attacked or trapped in something, but what if this is happening because she's actively fighting some threat to the world or universe, and has created this world as part of a strategy? Weaving it together might have preserved reality while some force is trying to pull it apart, or it might be a shelter for the people caught inside some dimensional anomaly she's trying to close. It could also be a sort of panic room where she's studying her enemy and brainstorming a plan on a subconscious level, and playing out a dream to keep herself sane. Sword probably means well, but just stumbled onto her and are getting in the way.

Dottie seems to be SWORD's avatar or something. Wanda's told if she needs to get Dottie on her side for an easy life, then she's trying to explain she doesn't want to cause anyone harm. Then Dottie replies with "I don't believe you." The voice kinda sounds like Barton. He would be most concerned with her out of the remaining Avengers. And he knows SHIELD, so maybe he's aware of SWORD.
