Then be impaled, have trippy dreams, be chased by a dozen walkers, see my family try to save me, blow up my bridge, get flung and carried down the river, get picked up in a helicopter, see jadis again, get taken to a city with zombie cure testings, have 3 movies
Also season 9: yeah he’s alive, he’s also never to be seen again! Such a dick move, so Carl gets his moment Rick disappears in a helicopter fuelled the theory, so now we have 2 characters that are technically dead but still alive just never to be seen again, Rick and michonne, who can actually be described as the main characters. Now it seems like they are focusing of backstory and relationships which isn’t bad but like… now carol is insane and Daryl is tbh the best he’s been, badass and supportive.. till carols an idiot
It sucks that in terms of the storyline in AMC's TWD, not a single Grimes family character is even alive at this point Judith doesn't count, Rick was cucked lmao
This song makes me feel some type of way I can't describe. The easiest way would be EXACTLY how Rick felt at the end of ep 1. This song fits absolutely perfectly for TWD and specifically that scene. Rick just woke up from a coma all alone, wanders the abandoned streets on his steed, forced to seek refuge in a frickin tank, then suddenly hears another survivor on the radio...man the atmosphere for TWD was so different in the earlier seasons! ;D
@@peacefulpovs Gimple said Rick is gone from the show for good, but they're making some AMC movies about "Rick's story", so we'll presumably see Lincoln in those.
yoitschlo I never knew that about Rachel getting off the plane in friends. You just spoiled it for me! What would’ve happened if I wanted to see it for myself huh? 😂
Can’t forget Glenn, Ricks right hand man, and the coolest kid on the team! We’ll never forget what Negan did to you Glenn! But remember, people can change, and so can Negan!
This song spells it out - Rick's first and last episode now a satellite falls to earth that Eugene uses to build a longer range radio...which will lead to the group becoming aware that he's alive. So you have the "space junk leading me to you". And now the new posters out for the other spin-off world beyond. Just shots of the characters with the words "Welcome to my World". Poetic and no coincidence...
Regardless of whether or not you only listen to this for TWD memories or if you actually enjoy Wang Chung's music, this song is still amazing by itself or not.
"Rick, it's Glenn. We're in a town five degrees east of the green marker. If you get around on Redding in the next 20 minutes, you should be good. I think that's how far we're ahead of the herd. I'm gonna try to set a fire and distract them. If you don't see smoke, they're still coming your way. I got to go. Good luck, dumbass" i thought of this song when this scene played out
@@fredslegacygames6157 now i understand the suden change in the way everything was, i loved the stile of the first two seasons but then everything just changed, i was so confused...
@@Cheezatino no he wants to see his kids, there is no chance he returns this season, when I first watched the walking dead I said that it will be on for 10 seasons, now I say 12.
Sad it’s all over. Started watching when I was 11 now I’m 20 damn.. I remember watching episode 1 for the first time so well. Goodbye The Walking Dead❤
This song relates to the maker of the show literally confirming to the cause of the outbreak originating from a space spore, and the song talked about welcome to my world aka ( the new world Rick is trapped in), also it says and “and it’s full of space junk” directly referring to humans being infected by space junk/spores and turning decaying zombie corpses basically junk
Yeah Drifting on the spaceway By the Betelgeuse Hotel Mapping out constellations Of the place I know so well Sifting through the system For the piece that knows my name Endlessly I listen In the master game Welcome to my world (Welcome to my world) Welcome to my only world (Welcome to my only world) It is full of space junk But your words are coming through I'm riding on the space junk And it's bringing me to you Bringing me to you Through the tenth dimension To the certainties beyond Dreamily in attention And the sub-atomic bomb Machine that spins within me And the spirit that drives me on Searching for an answer Welcome to my world (Welcome to my world) Welcome to my only world (Welcome to my only world) My head is full of space junk But your…
Let's be honest The series has a charm until the wanker comes into the picture. That wanker is Negan of course. A copy cat of the Governor. Which he was the best villain in the walking dead. I've got all seasons untill the 6th on Bluray because that's where it ends for me. Couldn't care less about the rest.
He’s alive as shit bro he just went in that helicopter that he saw in season 1 to I think a walker curing area where they cure walkers and they get this fucking nightmare back in its place
Amazing how well Rick's final episode brought the first episode full circle. The Helicopter, Horse, giant horde of walkers, Shanes appearance, and finally ending it with this song from episode 1's ending. Amazing!!!
i did first hear this on the walking dead, but jumped on the internet to find out about it. to live and die in LA was all their music for the most part. i have respect for wang chung.
And if none of us ever heard of Wang Chung....social media would be going nuts over this song. Just shows you how much impact a hit cable/tv show can have on one song.
