Yay! I have them all. To be fair I have over 50 different mushroom books in my library. Honourable mention missing from the list is Paul Stamets "Mycellium Running" one of my personal favorites

Hi Tony, Thanks for the free E-book. Also I just purchased some Lions Mane caps from you, I'm so hoping they work for me. I just received The National Audubon Society book Field Guide to Mushrooms. I just started this journey into mushrooms so I have not read any of those books. I'm reading everything on your fantastic website and others. Thanks for making all that info available. I can throughly recommend Medicinal Mushrooms The Essential Guide by Christopher Hobbs. Really excellent. Talking of excellent, all your videos are as well!

Thank you for this interesting books review. I would add to this list "Christopher Hobbs's Medicinal Mushrooms". This book can provide you with a lot of very useful information, but also seems easy to read and use. It has lots of colour photographs and is not too big like some other mushroom books.

I wonder if there are single celled "mushrooms" that are in water or liquid, like yeasts. Probably not. Like algae and such. A thought. Something mycology would call "mushrooms" in addition to fungi.

Read your book in one go @Freshcap Mushrooms, one question though. When talking about ratios: "A 1:1 extract ratio means that 1 pound of mushrooms was used to make 1 pound of extract. An 8:1 would mean that 8 pounds of mushroom fruit body was used to make 1 pound of extract."" is the fresh weight or dry weight? Anyway, great free book!

i already have an account but when i sign in i can't find the e-book and if i click on the link here it takes to a page where the only place to type your email into is at the bottom of the page,i signed up for that when i created my account awhile back now but just havn't received any emails,anyway when i click on the e-book tab it just reloads the page and if i sign in the e-book link disappears and your home page comes up.i'm at a loss at how to download it.whether i end up with the book or not no matter,but hey man thanks for doing that for us

@@FreshCapMushrooms have you ever heard of Agaricus mushrooms? I'm drinking them now as a coffee. This isn't popular at all as there aren't much studies about this. I think this is a powerful mushroom too. I heard this comes from Brazil but there's a company here in Philippines that partnered with the Agaricus mushrooms in Brazil.

@@sabrinawanderer7560 are you talking about Agaricus blazei? I have definitely heard of it! In fact it is the mushroom that Martin is holding early in this video. Very cool mushroom! The regular button mushrooms you get at the grocery store are also agaricus (Agaricus bisporus), fun fact to know!
