SicaRun you stan snsd? Then you should know its like this everywhere. There is no "fair" line distribution. The vocalists get most of the lines. The thing about wanna one is that they dont have official positions.. aside from woojin and guanlin as rappers , jaehwan and Sungwoon as main vocalists , thats it. All the others can sing well. That means 7 members. Also its true the producer/whoever is in charge chooses which member sings which part as in who suits it most.

Lillian the difference between SNSD and Wanna One is that W1 is a temporary group and everybody get their place by winning a competition and should be treated equally, in SNSD soon or later everybody is gonna have their time to shine, in W1 this won't happen (also in SNSD the dancers who didn't sung much got decent screentime and center time, in W1 who doesn't get lines, also doesn't get screentime and center - this time the screentime distribution is a little bit better, i hope the center is better too but the previous comebacks where a mess in terms of screentime) Beautiful is still their best line distribution, except Jisung.

The entire maknae line got less lines than they got in Beautiful beside Jinyoung who got a few seconds more, Jisung still barely has lines I will agree with what you said if Minhyun would had less lines to give somebody who didn't had much before but isn't happening

Casperieny Daehwi and Jihoon got less lines than in Beautiful, Jisung and Baejin had like 2s more, I wouldn't even call this a grow up and Minhyun isn't even my bias and he was like 6th in Beautiful (that's not a lot of lines), Sungwoon was like 3rd in Beautiful after Jaehwan and Daniel so he never had less lines, same as Ong, Ong didn't got the most lines but he is always between the members with the most lines. You said some of the members got a chance to shine, I thought you are speaking about the ones who don't usually get a lot of lines, not the ones who usually get lines,, literally only Baejin and Jisung has 2s more, Daehwi, Jihoon, Guanlin got less and Woojin has same as before. I agree that sometimes the lead and even main vocals should get less lines but they should give some of the lines to the ones who don't usually get, if they take their lines and give it to the ones who already have, they don't resolve anything.

Casperieny Casperieny the song is easy and there is nothing complicated about it, so things like vocal range doesn't make sense, literally any of the vocalists could put each part of the song, the mains should have done the adlibs, in rest the song is super easy, if it was sung in high key with high notes and a lot of adlibs where they need to use their head voice, I'll agree, but the song had like 2 adlibs and 1 high note (that's exactly the song you described, the easy one with uniform notes sung in a mixed register, basically the easy one so if they didn't get lines now, they'll never get). Lol saying Minhyun got less lines so "others" (God know who are the others) could shine isn't a opinion, you're biased because the ones who needed lines didn't got it, I replyed you because your comment was funny and didn't make sense but I'll end this because I don't really have time to waste it so have a fine day. SicaRun Funny that you made it sounds like Minhyun gave up his line to give it to somebody else. He didn’t own any lines to begin with, it was decided/divided by the person in charge. And whoever the person is, he/she decided to give him that much. I think the producer will know what’s the best for his/her produced song. So you just need to suck it up and move on because what you think is the best doesn’t matter. That just your personal preference. I believe the producer knows how to make a best professional decision on his/her own.
