for those who did not understand the twilight one occurs in the zero lesson episode where twiligh wants Asher a friendship problem and Asher turns out to be a chaos of love for his stuffed animal
I love how everyone is reuniting while watching this- I remember watching this when I was younger and it scared the shit outta me. Yet, I was still intrigued with the video.
1:44 I had to stop it because of how emotional it is.I had a cat one she was about 13 and she stopped eating one day and someone came and put her to sleep.I think she had something up with her heart.
I saw the pony version without ever realising it was based on another music video. Gotta say, the adherence to the original video was astoundingly well done. Both versions are trippy as hell.
You know, I've honestly never cared for the whole pony craze that much... but this video certainly gave me a new respect for the talents of those who do enjoy it. The new version gave me chills thinking about having something filled with memories get destroyed, but the old version will always bring me to tears thinking about a living thing with memories attached being stripped away from your life in an instant.
actually, the feelings that are shown in this video are beautiful, the love that you feel for your first pet, or plushie. its no wonder if you get very very mad when they go away, die or break. personaly, this video makes me fucking happy cause it shows that the love for such things like them never ever dies, even if they are gon
Lasers that cut through everything and lasers that hypnotize everyone both seem equally dangerous to me :P. But yeah, I agree with you on the creepiness factor of the original and it probably has to do with raising the dead which has been a staple of most good horror stories for ages. Plus, my version includes ponies which pretty much always makes anything less creepy.
{Doll breaks} Minze: ´get a new one.´ {cat dies} Minze: ´Holy... no-no... that’s so sad...´ {2012} Minze: {Screaming flashbacks} Ella: ´hey, you okay over there??´
1. I'm confused 2. What's the point of the song? 3. Da fudge 4. Why the fudge in the mother fudging in the fudges of fudge is there MLP version? Edit: this comment was 9 months ago when used fudge instead of frick
Unpopular Opinion: This is what G4 of My Little Pony was missing, dark characters and real stakes. For all it's fantastical world building, all of it felt so cotton candy like. It's villains really missed the mark.
Valid opinion, but it's important to remember that this is part of the MLP franchise, whose core demographic is first and foremost young children. There are lots of great things in FiM, like references older age groups are meant to get, but they are more like bonuses for secondary demographics.
yeah, with that video, I kinda just stayed until the cat got scratched in the face by a zombie. It's weird since I watch happy tree friends and love smile/cupcakes HD.But, it was maybe around 12 p.m and my bed is by a window so... yeah.
Just because you mentioned that, i went and watched, and i saw the part were the cat got scratched in the face, and the rest, and was like "This is nothing compared to what I've seen." lol
God coming back seven years later having studied animation and learned so much. God this was so impressive. The mlp one is such a faithful recreation using that insane episode (season 2 episode 3 for the folks who never saw the show, it's ok if you didn't the second season was honestly high tier entertainment but bronies ruin everything you know?) and the one with the girl is so sad, poor freaky child with her army of cat zombies. This deserves the comparison for sure. I've seen animation copies of other musical works and this one is by far the best I've ever seen, from the uncomfortable tweens to the exact same motions of the dancing cat and bongo cat. 10/10 the most faithful and loving recreation of an animated music video just set to a purple unicorn.
I love this song and the video(both versions) I saw the original first and for some reason, right at the climax of the song when the cat/doll is lying on the ground and says hold me, right there the music shift causes a huge shiver up my spine and whole body. I've never had another song affect me like this, it's really weird but I love it.
The reason you feel bad about the cat is because it was a living thing and had emotions and is easy to love. Dolls don't have feelings and cannot really "die". Like if u want I guess
I gotta say, both videos really capture the vibe of the song and make it more intense. Although I was introduced through the pony video, the original I think is a little more disturbing. Kudos on the pony version man.
