Raj Kumar Santoshi...was a very good director in Hindi Cinema at one time...made fabulous films like Ghayal, Damini,Ghatak,Andaaz Apna Apna,Ghatak,China Gate, Pukar,Lajja,The Legend of Bhagat Singh, Khakee. His last two films were comedies-Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani which was a Hit and Phata Poster Nikla Hero which was a box office failure. His comedy film Andaaz Apna Apna was a box office failure, but over the years, has gone on to become a cult film...a classic with a huge fan base of its own. Raj Kumar Santoshi is a director, whose films and the roles in those films won National Awards for Actors- Sunny Deol-Ghayal(Best Actor),Damini(Best Supporting Actor) , Anil Kapoor-Pukar(Best Actor), Ajay Devgn-The Legend of Bhagat Singh(Best Actor). Hope he makes a good comeback and makes more films and they do well...Looking forward to his film with Sunny Deol titled Lahore 1947, and also the comedy film he is planning.

Looking forward to the new version of Saraghadi. Akshay Kumar was trash in that film. No respect was given to the hero’s, cheap gimmicks, bad language were used for entertainment. The hero’s were turned into caricatures. Randeep Hooda would give the role justice because just like the director he has a deep respect for the Sikh community, unlike Akshay, who has no backbone and uses identity as a marketing tactic.

Really wanted to know why they stopped working together & any plans to collaborate in future. Ajay Devgn appears to be an ideal actor for Raj Kumar Santoshi's hard hitting style cinema.
