There is a reason this car is still relevant. Me personally not a fan of Honda but got to admit they can do some amazing things. What I like the most it's how great those little honda engines work. They don't produce massive amounts of horse power but the work phenomenally and can take a lot of boost and revs. Get the mustang not the S2000!! 😂😂
Love the fact they are a front engine rear wheel drive just how its suppose to be, the engine just never made any sense to me. An engine where all the power is so high in the rev range is a bit useless, I understand the engineering that goes into them is immense though. They are a bit like the NSX its more about balance and poise than straight line speed, Thanks for the insight to another great build Joe. Looking forward to the next!
I like the exhaust in that it looks stock. I have an 06 with a flashpro tune. Otherwise stock with 57k miles. I will definitely do that brake upgrade when the time comes. I prefer the stock look on these cars though I do admire some of tastefully (reversibly) modded ones. I'm pretty happy with the performance of the car now but I feel the stock exhaust is a little too muted for such a great engine.
I always wondered: Replace oem parts with oem, mod it and have it look modded, or make it look oem on the outside but secretly have aftermarket parts. I am leaning towards the latter and I think this owner is doing the same.
The older the s2000 is the more durable reliable for example early 2000s one gonna overlast 2009 one I’m pretty sure the quality went down just like all Honda’s
Raiti's Rides She was an 2004. She had the better of the two engines the 2.0. In metallic grey. I bought her off the showroom floor at Honda in GA. I lllllooooovvvvveeeeedddd my S2000. It was an amazing car. So, why i got rid of the S2000 is because I was driving to work and I hydroplaned doing 40 mph and had a wreck on the interstate “Very dangerous”. After that I had no confidence in driving that car. So, I traded it in for my Evo. However, when the weather permitted the car was a DREAM! It was my barbie mobile. (So, Ive owned 3x300zxs, 2x350s, 1xSaturn Sky Redline, 1xHonda s2000, 1xMitsu Eclipse, 1xMitsu Evo, Acura cl 3.2 type S, and now a Ford Fusion Sport, 3xmustang Gts “Im a lucky girl, my husband takes good care of me”) :)I told you im a true enthusiast.
Funny, I had those tires on my previous Impreza. They are not very good. He should have got the BF Goodrich g-force comp 2 A/S instead, they were much better in every way.
Ohh...... That makes sense.... They look fairly new too but if he's in Florida then he won't even need the tires I mentioned, he can get something even more grippy. Pilots maybe.... depends on how expensive he wants to go really. They didn't have the tires in my size at first but the NEW pilot 4S just got released for the WRX size of tire. I would have got those instead of my INVOs but I can't say I regret buying those.... They are holding up well. Excellent rain tires as well.... the Pilot 4S are just about the best you can buy though. The Super Sports are on sale now as well.... maybe go that route as they empty inventory.
