How I study for longer with full concentration - get your desired college and branch using this technique- the POMODORO.
However as always i’ll emphasise the importance of DISCIPLINE over motivation. Discipline is more important than motivation. Pomodoro too works only with discipline.

Remember- Pomodoro only works with discipline. If you don’t have discipline, the very first 5 min break will become 50 minutes. Otherwise - it’s brilliant. You’ll study for longer without even realising it or feeling tired. For those saying that exam is 3 hours - well - this meant for days whe we tend to procrastinate - much before exams. In the month leading upto exam - like I said - the fear /excitement is enough to drive almost anyone to study for longer. Also, even in exams - I have used Pomodoro. After 1 hour - or after finishing on section - it’s always necessary to take 2-3 min pause. Take a deep breath. Relax for a bit. We all do it subconsciously during exams.

I'm good at all: phy, chem and bio, I top my class at phy, sometimes in bio, and sometimes at chem. I'm a student at Aakash, and I'm also a student at another coaching centre(tied with my school), I can't do both, so I sometimes slack in Aakash, because I get burned out from 8 hours of school(which is the other coaching centre), 3 hours of Aakash classes, and I study for like 1-2 hours a day.. And then there's this boarding school, best in my state, had students with 710/720 in NEET, they make you study for like 4 hours a day, and only 7 hours of school, which I actually find something way easier than what I'm in right now. I'm an OCI and this new rule makes me study in the NRI quota, even though I've studied in India from like 1st standard. If I don't get into AIIMS, I'll have to start preparing for the UK med-school entrance exams, which I don't think will be the case, because they'll probably change the rules but I have no idea what to do lmao (Sorry for the whole paragraph thing I needed some venting)

pandemic took a toll on me when it came to studies, i simply could not sit and study anymore, until i came across pomodoro technique. i personally use 50min sessions followed by 10min until im done for the day. my marks started going up and i felt very confident in my studies. pomodoro really works if you take breaks and study in the time efficiently and honestly. if your break is up, you have to get back to your work no matter what happens.

As much glorious as it might seem studying continously for long hours, it may or may not be effective , it depends so it IS important for us to realize what works for us. and it's so so true that discipline is really important . "you may not be motivated every single day but you can be disciplined everyday." , not my words but true that.

As per psychology it says that if you are given something to memorize or learn you will mostly remember the first and the last bits more than the middle bits.so to increase the memory power you make smaller chunks and take tiny breaks thus increasing the amount of 1st and last bits. I don't know whether this makes sense but at Uni we were taught about this not to study continuously for longer hours

Bhaiya I don’t have that discipline but I will build it , actually if I take a 10 min break it becomes 30 mins to 40 . But I will do it keeping in mind my target and that it’s for myself at the end😊😊

I struggle with 2 things in using POMODORO. I would be grateful if you could share your thoughts on this - 1) After 30 mins of studying, when the alarm goes off, I am tempted to continue reading. I feel that the paragraph/chapter/topic is left incomplete. So I end up studying beyond 30 mins. 2) The breaks seem too small to do anything rewarding. 5 mins is too less. And even after 3 hours, 30 mins seems too less as a 'reward'.
@princepoddar2840
@princepoddar2840 2 года назад
Buddy. You don't need to do exact 30 min , one session of pomodoro should stop when you start to lose focus and then take a break of 1/5th of the time you studied . For me if i have to do a boring work like watching lectures then i do 30 min but if i have to do revision of a chapter or questions then i do pomodoro of 45-50 min . Hope it helps

Hi brother. I don't claim to be an expert in the use of the Pomodoro technique but the only way in which your problem can be resolved is through discipline and repetition. The Pomodoro technique or any other technique for that matter is not a magic wand that can solve all your study problems effortlessly. Instead, it plays a vital role in bringing structure and order to your studying. one tip will be to do the exact same thing during the 4- minute break time. For instance, if you prefer to listen to a song, then listen to the exact same song during your break time. If performed repeatedly, this will also start acting as a cue to your brain and every single time you listen to that song, you will feel like getting back to your studies. Hope this helps.

Wow! The amount of truth bombs this video dropped is exceptional!!!! Like you said I study of two hours and feel like I've achieved something great and end up wasting my whole day🌚 And the fact that we study only when exams are near is also detrimental in the sense that it's the time when we should be revising instead of going through rigorous study sessions. I surely will follow your tips and I'm sure it'll help me be closer to my goal. Thanks a lot for that😊😊😊 THIS VIDEO WILL SURELY HELP ALL ASPIRANTS OF DIFFERENT EXAMS.

Bro make a complete training system for this. I'm so stuck in a phase where I can't get work done. My mind is all over the place, I'm fortunate to have found a channel like yours. Inefficieny and unproductivity are hindering my progress. I lack focus and feel de-energized all the day. Perhaps social media has a lot to do with the stiumus. But it would be super helpful if you could address modern day issues for students or people who are trying to get work done, but can't put in the needed focus let alone longer duration of time.

What he said about procrastination and the ability we all possess to study for long hours is true. If we can study for long hours during exam period then we should be able to do the same on regular days too. Also the Pomodero method might be useful to some but not all. There is no universal answer to every question. A method like pomodero is useful for only those who have high concentration to begin with. As for me, as soon as I will get a break and so something, my concentration will get break and then I won't be able to study....Once my concentration breaks or when I go to study, it at least takes me around 15-20 minutes to gain concentration and actually able to understand what I am studying. Pomodero is a method that is not for me and for many more too. The best way is for one to discover their true nature and act according to it.
@anonymous_246
@anonymous_246 2 года назад
This problem is with me too, I can study constantly for 3 hours straight but fails to do Pomodoro techniques because I'm not that disciplined to leave my phone after 10 min of break. In the end, what works for you, works for you.

I just have one question, on your college days, where you spend 8 hours or so at college, how much time do you do self study after that?
@alishasayyad5396
@alishasayyad5396 2 года назад
Basically you need to snatch time and study whenever possible if you are a college going neet aspirant . Be it your recess or some boring lecture or some free period in between two lectures or during your travel, any free time can be used. And then when you are at home use your time wisely and also sleep for at least 6hrs. By this you can at least study for 6-7 hr min on your college days.
