@@MatthewBrookKayaking One guy who is doing the flat water back loop into a front loop is Tomasz Czaplicki. I don't think he has any examples on his RU-vid, but he's certainly got some videos of him doing it on his Insta.

Hi Matt, great video, really starting to understand the snap. Just one thing, when I tried I noticed I come nearly all the way around but my paddle gets stuck behind me. And tips on the last bit with the second blade, good work at world's btw, some tricky names to pronounce

Well done Christopher. Keep trying and you'll get there. Another thing that can help with this is being able to perform a low brace that starts in the rear quadrant of the boat and sweeps to the front. Have fun practising!
Here are my attempts! I did try on a session before these but ended up doing back deck rolls. I'm not sure if I've got it totally in these examples since I think my boat may go too vertical on the nose through the move(?), but I think it's progressing. One of the things that is helping me though is to think of the first part like an over vertical beginning to a split wheel (helps me visualise using the paddle for support) and making sure pressure is maintained out to the side as the rotation starts to happen.
