War Commander: Using The Engineer Like A Pro (Hot Tips) 

Would love to know your thoughts on the Engineer Commanders?

You're right on the money about the Engineer being a sheep in wolf's clothing. Behaves exactly like Pursuer and its' drones. And the one thing Kixeye will need to do for the unit to fulfill its' destiny, is put a governor on the drones so they can't go beyond what their range permits for them to maintain the ability to fire. The drones are what are supposed to give the unit that special something. If they're running out too far to fire and getting killed, then they're working against the Engineer. They're literally defeating their purpose. If that's not fixed, the unit will be a bust. It's bad enough that the drones, even when Brother Devin is not in the platoon, are not high priority. They will not provide distraction for you defending units. The least they can do is maintain their ability to fire on attacking units. But, that's Kixeye for ya. They have shown a propensity for putting out units that are essentially broken...and quite deliberately. Selling Wonka Bars knowing damned well not a damned one has a golden ticket, lmao!! 'Look! We offer you a high HP unit with drones! But they're not high priority. And they won't provide any distraction for your defenders, either. And they'll run out into the open to be slaughtered by attackers. And once they move beyond a certain point, their weapons won't work. But it's got high HP and damage! Enjoy!'

What I noticed in my base is if it is on aggressive, they are in front of the main unit and they all shoot. During the event, only like one or two max ever shoot at the same time. Most of the time they spawned out and just was a meat shield. That was OK too I guess lol….

Too much babysitting for mere a mediocre unit. And if you don't babysit it then the plat capacity is better off saved for some other stuffs, the main unit itself is just mundane at this point. They should either put a leash on drones or cut the aggro range to something like 600.

Tell us, do you think the grind was worth it?

pfffff so it is a stupit unit , to put in your base when your not on .... we need somthing good to put in the base to defend when you are off line ,
