Great video; been using it myself a bit (yesterday I got up to 7 WF!), now understand more nuances. After this, we need the responsible follow up: how to fight effectively against it! (while waiting for the likely nerf). There have to be some very solid ways to set up against it; I've seen 201 use ignite vulcans fairly well for example....Though of course the effective counter will be much more difficult than the strategy itself, would be great for the community to at least have a fighting chance, or maybe just the Rat fans🐀 ... Thanks for another great video!
I wish WF was more of a support or a command and control vehicle. Less unit spam and more buffs, repairs, etc Also weird that it can’t repair itself. It’s printing new units but can’t fix itself up?
Tried this today, first game went great, second guy just built mass wasps and they kill the factories instantly. Even with mass mustangs to counter, they can't clear the wasps fast enough.
Survived my last war factory match: think in no small part due to baiting out missile defense against my elite spec storms. (elite / high impact storms are literally 8 level 1 stormcallers damage per volley) Then prepare the ignite fangs unless there's electromag to take down more than shields with the missiles once they go intercepting.
It is so stupid that this even works :D I have to stop with this now, I already climbed 200 MMR with it and once I stop using it I will be completely destroyed by the higher MMR people :D
Nice! :D Yea it has some counter plays, but the war factory is for sure the strongest strategy in the game compared to how easy it is to execute. But it's good to climb if you are mentally prepared to lose later. You learn a lot playing vs higher mmr people
Don't know what the best answer is. Scorpions with siege mode + acid works in some board states. Overlords with ground cannon in some others. Vulcan with ignite is also good.
A little bit in some patches. The new units and AM devices complicated a lot. But if the right changes are made it's gonna be very balanced in no time, im sure
