Recent interview of a former Russian president Medvedev where he claimed that 'Ukraine will cease to exist by 2034' was explicitly used to promote the idea of a 'long war' to the Russian general public that will inevitably end with 'Russia's victory'. This seems to be contradictory with some recent claims of ceasefire and peace talks, allegedly demonstrated from Moscow.

My calculations say Russia has less than a year. I published a book on 3/10/23 setting Russia's chances of winning at 3 x 1 against . Since then Ukraine has grown stronger, Russia progressively weaker. Russia is deluded and whistling past the looming graveyard.
