Fantastic review Alyssa. Wow where do I start,this is another fantastic movie,Caesar gets so dark in this,I was worried he may kill him self,or will be so filled with hatred,that this fantastic character would be ruined. I also loved the fact that captured apes were forced to fight for the humans,i.e. that gait blonde ape,with donkey writin on his back,fantastic dehumanising,I don't know the ape word equivalent,an even more horrific the apes wondent take these apes back,even if they escaped. This is just a fantastic watch. I loved Nova n Morice,I think there interaction,was keeping Caesar sane. Woody Harlson,was fantastic in this,he can play baddies. I'd give this four out of five paws. The great escape n the bridge over the river quie,are fantastic movies,but I prefer Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence.

Fine review as usual. Spoilers follow... Am I the only one who thinks this trilogy is something of a loose telling of the Exodus story? Caesar is born of a type of slave, but raised by those in power, becoming of both worlds. He ultimately chooses the group he was born in, removes them from captivity, and leads them away from their captors. They wander in the wilderness for many years, facing threats both internal and external. Caeser is finally able to lead his people to a place they can make a home of their own, but he doesn't get to live there and dies at his families arrival.

Oh definitely, Caesar is straight-up Moses by the end of this. They kind of keep some of those ideas going moving into Kingdom as well.
