Man...I usually don't shed tears or cry while watching films. I've gone through moments that are meant to be sad and impactful and I'd barely feel a thing but this track...this one actually broke me. Listening to it now even after finishing the trilogy, this songs cuts so damn deep. I think it's the piano bit followed by the build up of the choir that does it for me. Definitely one of Michael Giacchino's best tracks yet. I can't wait to hear his OST for The Batman.
I rarely comment on vids but I had to say that I just now finished the last movie and whilst I rarely get emotional in any type of circumstance this track did it for me aswell. Crazy how our emotional situation and reaction to this are quite the same, it must be something special then!
@@ow9615 Indeed. A true testiment to how powerful music is and when combined with the emotional heroes journey Caesar goes on. Words can't describe the tital wave of emotions. Truly special.
I first saw the movie on a plane coming home from Hawaii in December 2017, it probably 3 am or something when I watched it. The first one I saw of the franchise actually, definitely one of my favorite movies, so nostalgic.
Caesar You can Rest In Peace for Not only being a great Leader but for showing it with actions. It honestly Hurts to see Him Die because I saw the complete movie series so for those who saw these movies I’m pretty sure y remember how we saw A Baby Ceaser and how he became the leader to having a family… Goodbye Ceaser My your soul rest for the good Ape you where. :)
comments like yours also almost make me cry. It remembers me that I'm getting older when I realise that people grew up with this tribology while I was already adult .
Humans these days are trash they look up to tiktokers, they don't give a shit about the planet, and are filled with greed. They're survivors out there that can change the world but they are not given an opportunity, or should I say they don't create an opportunity.
I'm always with Ceasar, humans are so mean, they know how to destroy mother Earth, and their beautiful creation,, Ceasar was a great leader.. most underrated trilogy ever..RIP Ceaser 💔
Caesar is evolved he realizes when he's slapping you around with ease and you are so feared full emotions that you will not be able to discern anger versus hatred so I tell you now everything about Caesar in this picture this image that goes along with the sound that's anger not hatred
I wouldn't say this track is sad. I enjoy listening sad music but this one... is beyond sadness. I was actually pretty surprised to read this comments. For me, this track is the expression of the exact moment when Caeser realizes that hatred is pointless. [Spoiler alert] When he is about to kill the Colonel, the Colonel himself hands his gun to Caeser, unable to speak and eaten away by grief because of the murder of his own son. Caeser sudenly understands he wasn't the only one to suffer, that his vengeance wouldn't release any pain. He finally understands that the Colonel isn't Evil itself but a leader who tried to save his kind too. I think he even comes to feel compassion for the Colonel, wondering what he would have done if he too had to choose between the life of his son and that of his people. [Spoiler ending] I think Caeser realizes how insignificant his anger is at the madness of the world. For me, this masterpiece is the best expression of fatality. However, i'm not saying this is the correct interpretation. Afterall, music is really personnal.
I didn't not start this war I offered you peace but you killed my family But I will finish it Apes together strong Apes win war! Koba weaker Ape not kill ape Caesar weak What did Caesar do for us? Caesar loves humans more then apes!!
Man, Why i always start crying after i listen to this song? 😓😢😭😭😭 I Remember Caesar's Death, And The Poor Apes.Every time I listen, my throat gets knotted, my tears come.I can't breathe. I am Crying Every 1 Hour Because i listen to this song. Why Did they killed caesar at the 3. Movie? I hate the last scene.
This was my comment on the original piece of this music on Facebook Let's talk about "Exodus Wounds" by Michael Giachinno. "Exodus Wounds" is the classical composition that is played in the "War For The Planet of The Apes" film. It's a beautiful piece of symphonic music that brings a tear to the eye when it is played in the film. I loved it so much, I searched for it and got it 40 minutes later. Of course the film does not play the whole piece so I only heard the full track when I got it and I was mortified! I was taken aback and heartbroken by the last 1.20 seconds of the song. They are completely unnecessary and just go off on their own lane. I feel like the first 3.10 minutes and the last 1.20 should be two completely different pieces of music. Micheal Giachinno did the music for Spiderman: Homecoming and seeing that I have no memory of the music in that film, it could not have been any good. At least compared to Danny Elfman's iconic music for the original Tobey Maguire Spiderman films. I can recognise that from the first 10 seconds. It's that good. I'm not saying Michael Giachinno is a bad composer. I'm just saying his Spiderman: Homecoming music was forgettable and he ruined Exodus Wounds by having a terrible unnecessary ending.
Lawrence Mashiyane Seriously.. You need to stop THINKING you understand music.. Whoever told you that was lying to you.. There is no nice way to say it. But Sorry dude.. you don’t understand shit about music.. You better of try find better thing for you to waste your time on, not trying to breaking down music. You clearly has no idea what CLIMAX means!!!!... EXUDES WONDS,,, is FUCKING MASTERPIECE!!!! Go play video games son.
Lawrence Mashiyane I'm 100% with you the song should stop at 3:10... But the rest of the music transitioned into the next song which went well with the movie but doesn't go well as a standalone song
@@SSKA57 I know this comment is old... But I don't think u understand what he meant. At the ending of the song there's that horrible ugly transition which ruins the whole song. It's a sad song but when u get towards the ending the transition sucks and ruins the whole song. That's what the guy is talking about
Micheal Giachinno wrote the music to confirm to the movie. he wasn't in charge of cutting them up into individual songs. There's not a thing wrong with this.
I don't dislike BUT i was quiet sleeping on the first 7 minutes and after no real epic . Perhaps very good with the film for feelings (i'havent seen the film ) but this music by herself .....???
