Never been in any armed forces but isnt the field strip and strip down cleaning of a weapon for when, mud/sand/dirt gets inside the weapon?

@@klevdud Yeah, that's why you'd do it, but there is so much emphasis on doing it when in reality I have never needed to strip a rifle in order to fix it on the fly. You just keep it clean and keep the dust cover closed. Most rifles now days are designed to work even with some debris in the action.

The Minsk agreement provided autonomy within a federal structure. Could have worked. Both sides did agree to it. Unfortunately it was a complete failure.
