Another speedrun has been done, I present Ultra V! This robot is clearly inspired by Japanese robots and is considered the hero of the game and protagonist, the only one who is moved by wanting to save humanity!

Infatti il personaggio è chiaramente ispirato ai Gundam. Dato che tra i mostri c'è un robot americano (robo 47), hanno poi aggiunto quello giapponese per completezza.

@@ZaxsSGames I can see. I was blown away how different it was. Ultra-V is my main too. Personally though, I still like his default costume the most, Mazinger Z is my favourite Mecha Design of all time. I think the #2 Costume could have been better, it looks too blue. Maybe they could have done a pure Silver, Gunmetal, or Black and Gold.

Except its overall end-animation's hitboxes are very little, meaning you have to avoid using half of his attacks. And no, it's not cool.

Adventure mode is so much fun. And then you reach Metropolis.

Exactly, it's beautiful down to the part of Metropolis. In my opinion, Preytor and Congar are the real bosses of the game. xD

Do not say that to me. Every time I try I always lose. When I manage to beat them, it's always a great triumph. xD They are the real bosses of the game! xD

@@AbsoluteAzure Unfortunately it takes a lot of luck. In fact, these speedruns almost never succeed on the first try (except only for the speedruns of Raptros, Magmo and Goliath Prime).

People don't notice the tiny details in the Costumes. Ultra-V default #1 costume has Boosters (or Shock-absorbers) on his Soles. But in #3 'Getter Robo' Costume, they're just regular Shoe Soles. Even the Turbine Fan is different in colour. Also, I should compliment you that you're playing this game quite well. You have a similar style to me. Using the Uppercut Attack to chain combos. I feel that most players underuse that Strike. I also like that you're zapping with the generators too. People don't notice this, but Dive Bombing at the top of a building, while it will throw them off. It is a great move, especially in Tsunopolis. You're using Ultra-V really well, I'm looking forward to see how you use Characters like Agamo.

Thank you very much for your compliments. ^^ I like to use a little bit of all monsters, but my favorite number 1 remains Togera; in fact with this monster, I made the best record of all. I have a style based on attacking monsters using scenario items, rather than using brute force. I find myself there more. Still I only miss the speedruns of: Preytor, Congar, Agamo and Zorgulon. Preytor and Agamo will be the most difficult to do, as they are the strongest and most used monsters in speedruns than others, so I will have to train a lot more to be able to use them better. ;-)

@@ZaxsSGames I never got to myself to liking Togera and Preytor. Not that I dislike their character designs, but I couldn't get used to their movesets. Togera's LR Special is a letdown, and Preytor's is just okayish. I never liked Preytor's attacks, though they seem very quick, they don't really have much knock-back power. Maybe it's just the playing style. I usually like Faster and more Nimble Characters like Ultra-V or Kineticlops. But with Agamo I make an exception. He's rather well done. I always feel happy to see a good Agamo player!

Speaking of Agamo, why is it he that speedrunners use the most?

@@ShiftyGuy777 Because he has the Strongest Strike and deals a great amount of Damage. Also, he's quite Tough, so he takes lesser damage too. His LR Special is when his Head enlarges and can use it as a Throwable/Boulder. Which deals even more Damage.

Also since you're gunning for speedruns, I have a tip for fighting Goliath Prime. When you are blocking his 3-hit string, you can actually jump to the left while locked on to him to dodge the third attack and start a combo on him from behind. Saves a bit of time compared to blocking his third strike that sends you some distance even when blocked.

Hey friend, I plan in the future to develop a saga of several short crossover kaijus fangames (among them a recreation of the canceled kaiju colossal combat and a sequel fangame of war of the monsters with options menu with filters technicolor,black and white and cinemascope and crt vhs like old movies) to finally develop a bigger godzilla domination-style kaiju crossover fangame with kaijus assistants in the style of smash bros and npc of the army and air force shooting the monsters while they fight and cities of the world as stages of the game

Sounds like a good project! I hope you can manage to develop it! ^^ I too have many projects that I would like to do (2D animation) but I always run out of time and I can never complete them, I also hope to be able to do them for myself.

@@ZaxsSGames thanks and the kaijus fangames that I am going to develop will have the filters in the options menu black and white, cinemascope, technicolor and crt vhs and npc of the army like planes, helicopters etc. shooting to the monsters (the fangame sequel of war of the monsters will have those things too) and good luck making your animations!

Clearing Arcade Mode that fast was cool enough, using the Getter Robo Skin was just absolutely hardcore.

Para fazer esse movimento, você tem que usar Círculo + Cima para correr e, sem soltá-los, pressione Triângulo para correr mais rápido. ;-)

@@ZaxsSGames Sweet. I also have it on emulator but i get a crash on the second stage after togera is killed during the 'cutscene' Can you share your settings please?

@@mamamia5668 Very strange, the factors can be multiple. Either you don't have a good PC that can handle the rest of the game, or the emulator settings are off. I use Pcsx2.

@@mamamia5668 Probably, you should look for some ISOs that might work. I recommend that you download it from EmuParadise, but you also need to install the script first to be able to do this.

There is so many mistakes in this speedrun I would take 2 or 3 hours to cover it all. Even though, certain of your moves were quite efficient. Improve your speedrun and I'll be satisfied.

If I had all the time in the world to dedicate it 100%, I would. But since I don't have it, I accept the first or second run. The only one I know how to use well is Togera because it has always been my favorite all my life.

@@ZaxsSGames Well Agamo's 16 min. and some seconds speedrun is a great example of what I was looking for. Togera has great combos and the flame attack would surely do a great job at a certain point in speedrunning, but Agamo + good-timing combo is a must-watch! By the way, have a good day.

@@Donjonneau But most Speedruns do them on easy difficulty. Mine are all of maximum difficulty, you can not get the same result. :-S

@@ZaxsSGames In this case, I should stop whining and go practice it. I speedrunned one thing (without recording because it was my first play to the game and it's only when I've found the fast way that I had the desire of speedrunning it) and it's a roblox game: Car Crushers 2. The goal was simple, yet took me in total 6 days (welp, I could improve it LOL): Getting all the 4 score-multiplier Coins (at each amount of currency required that was fullfilled for getting a coin I had to start from 0 currency to get the next one and so on) and getting 30 trillion in-game currency (the most expensive vehicle at that time). It's time to show my dedication to War of the Monsters too.

@@Donjonneau If you also do Speedrun by WotM I would be very happy, it's a nice game and I would have liked a lot if some videogame house could take it back to make us a sequel or a remastered. I make these videos not to beat who knows what record but more for my passion (I consider it one of my favorite video games ever ^^). I hope you can succeed in your intent. Anyway, thank you for your understanding.
