Wondering if the developers are authorized to use Spielberg & Co.'s iteration of the tripods and other aspects of the story not present in the original, but put out by Hollywood. In H.G. Wells' story they crash-landed on Earth from Mars and had to build their tripods in a crater for 5 days before standing up and moving. Everything here is ripped off of Spielberg's film down to the last detail. I'd absolutely LOVE to play a WOTW game regardless, too bad it's been like 3 years already and no dice. Maybe copyright infringement has something to do with both that, and this guy's vid not being taken down?

Guys these are just clips stolen from the main channel, there is no gameplay we haven't already seen. When you become a tester you must accept the terms which include not posting ANYTHING, if you violate you face legal action.

So im thinking the best way to take a tripod down that has a shield would be create a mine field using bunker buster bombs and wait for it to walk over and detonate it.

If it’s anything like the film then it might be a case of surviving as long as possible so that the aliens slowly become weaker, then missiles/bombs etc. would be more useful

Few problems with that 1) Human weapons of any kind do not work on the tripods, this is intentional and is a theme of anything WotW related ....they die of bacterial infection 2) the point is to survive as a civilian, your character wont be able to use millitary weaponry like landmines or tanks All the weapons in game will be for use on either humans or aliens that exit the tripods to search for you

Even if it’s stolen gameplay them doing the demo this way drives me crazy because they aren’t taking it seriously as a survival action horror game, they run around like a psycho and then they question why they die so quickly, if I were playing i would work my way away from the tripods as fast as i can then hunker down in a house with a good amount of supplies and multiple exits so if the drone comes down I can leave when it shows up and return when it leaves and move around with no lights and only a pistol for defense if I have to get supplies, there is a very good method and I’ve been prepping for tripods showing up on earth for years I have so many plans😅

nice video bro, gam looks pretty sick, theres a lot of asset flip stuffgoing on there and really looks like a mobile game for the most, but overall the game loots cool.
