Yeah they did a really great job with the movement! I think it was even physics based. I was thinking about about how amazing a third person would be too, would be able to get some really great footage with it!

I hope so too! I'm not too familiar with the process of getting games onto consoles, I wonder if they'd be able to.

Are martians tripods not strider

At the moment they're just window dressing and sound effects. I've heard that they're not intending to make it so the tripods can be destroyed, but I personally hope they change their mind about that. I'd prefer it if the tripods were really tough, but not invincible.

Sorry I forgot to reply again, but like an hour after I wrote that last comment I find out that they've seemingly changed their minds and you can actually down tripods now apparently lol.

Ha, I was thinking that too a bit, but surprisingly it didn't seem that bad when playing it. Maybe they'll turn it down a bit though, or add that option.
