Interesting, but I don't see the end object of this game???? If the Machines are like in the actual Tom Cruise Movie - and were indestructible with shield protections, then all I see is humans trying to run away and not to get killed which would get kind of boring. Man did not kill the Martians in the machines, an Earth virus did. That is if this game is following the actual movie.
Well they have shields, force fields to be exact, so it's impossible to take them down, but not if you kill them from the inside, or if they get sick and the shields go down.
Nice progress on this game! BUT... I do wish they hadn't lost the Rights to use the ORIGINAL SOUND the Machines made! That sound is so iconic and terrifying!
The game is now in development, but you can buy it for $ 100 in its current state. In general, the game will be released in Steam when it will be ready for half a thousand. Its price will be $ 20-30
By "survive a week", I'm assuming there is an endgame where the tripods malfunction and the aliens die due to bacterial exposure like in the movie. I'm curious as to how long those days are supposed to last. I think it's a good idea overall though, so it can encourage repeat playthroughs with possibly no two playthroughs being completely the same.
The game looks great, but please stop claiming the videos are 4K, because they're not. RU-vid isn't capable of showing videos in 4K (despite their claims). The greatest resolution available on RU-vid is UHD. 4K is 4096 x 2160. UHD is 3820 x 2160.
