Amazing work. Truly awesome attention to detail and imagination. Love the design of the metal on the heads, looks like a sick plate of armor. It has an overall sharper and more threatening appearance to me.
It is such a good alternative concept from the movie. However, keeping the 2 small cages under the Tripod's rear would have given a better look. Impressive work, overall!
I actually really like the single basket. It actually keeps it in line with the novel as they were described as having one “large fishing basket on the back” as opposed to the two in the film.
@zacattack8 I preferred the two cages because they show off the titanic size of the machines. Plus, they had a cool design in the bottom of the "head."
Amazing work on the tripods, can’t wait to see them ingame, are you guys redesigning the aliens/martians, would love to see concept art if you guys are changing them with the tripods
Where do the aliens come out? I know in the 2005 movie they come out the bottom of the leg cause there’s a compartment but your legs don’t look like they have a compartment
Looks cool as hell, did you have to change it from the movie version for legal reasons or did you decide to upgrade it? Or is this just an alternative version you can select?
I love the design all together, but is this like a more detailed version or is a custom version? BC I see a few things inaccurate to the original design, and that's why I wanna ask
It's the alternative design made in case Paramount doesn't like the fact that their original tripod model is being used in a paid game. So they made a modernistic variation that looks different, but gives off the same vibes as the 05 model
