​@@dse763 It's not that easy but those players were basically free kills: slow targets, limited armaments and ammo and they went straight towards the strategic bombers, those guys are geniuses. The Ki-61 guy was the only one who knew what he was doing (and he probably had the worst aircraft in this match).

@@jiaruiyan870 The aft fuselage shouldn't fall of from 20 mm fire, even minengeschoß. The horizontal- and vertical stabilisers and the wings should have the possibility of falling of due to 20mm fire.

In War Thunder I was playing as a B-29 bomber and I've lost part of my right wing but I still managed to successfully complete the mission I only had three engines though I couldn't turn left because I had a hold left just to stay up but I also had some support with another B-29 who put part of his left wing under my right wing to help keep me up because him and I were the only two left idk how him and I survived 8 bf-109s but we did it

You’d be surprised by how much they could take, War Thunder doesn’t give them enough credit.

ClingyCrab1951 one 30mm mk108 shell can take the tail of a spitfire clean off in real life. I don’t think the b17 can do that much better lol

The majority of bomber losses irl were due to engine damage, or pilot hits, not structural failure. The reality of heavy bombers is that they still hold together with entire chunks blown out of tails, fuselage, even the wings. Go watch documentaries where pilots, German or otherwise, talk about how they approach a bomber. They target engines, pilots, and gunners, they don't try to saw through the entire thing. I'm sure you could saw a B-17 tail off with 30mm cannons, but you'll expend a lot more ammo than if you just put a burst into the engines. And that ammo is needed when the B-17 formation is 50 planes not 5.

50 cals are way too overpowered. And the in game, the b17 meets 20 and 30mm machine cannons which would tear the b17 in half with around three shoots

50 cals can shoot planes down and turn panzer 4s into swiss cheese

Mineshells plus the accuracy of mouse aim shouldn't be a thing, we cannot change mouse aim but we can nerf the mineshells to an acceptable level and it'll be a win win for all as everyone that faces Germany hates there broken mineshells.

When you spray down a 109 with constant hitmarkers appearing on your reticle, nothing happens, then his friend comes so you have to break and the 109 outturns you and oneshots you then you will know which of the two is the broken weapon system.

Actually, the area just behind the wing, and just in front of the waist gunners position, was the weakest and German pilots were instructed to aim there and you could literally break the plane in two

Even Japanese .50s can do that shit, as well as at a level flight engagement. You didn't seem to get my point which was that the damage modeling is ass in the game, and especially with bombers.
