These videos are fantastic. The Fighter School playlist is hands down the most instructive air combat series out there, as far as I've seen. Thanks for doing them. Watching them I have begun to wonder what key bindings / controls you use, especially for camera control during combat.
Most of my controls are set to the default bindings--though what the default is set to may have changed since I started playing the game. The major changes I've implemented are that I've mapped pitch control to the buttons on the side of my gaming mouse, and that I've moved the button to fire cannons and additional armament from left-click to the spacebar, and in turned moved the bomb drop button from the spacebar to left shift.
i am playin war thunder 3d day, started watching some videos. Currently by doing that i scored 8 kills 0 deaths on AB (WOW for me, i am noob) due to some level of understanding, and now, i think this is best video channel about this all acrobatics and manouvers. Great job and big thank you for making my life less painfull in this hard game ;)
Why did you decide to head on the spitfire who has an altitude advantage? Isn't that a dumb move by climbing up to get a gun solution on him while reducing your speed drastically when there are other enemies close to him?
Simple expedience. I was willing to take the risk of getting hit in a head-on so that I could go on the offensive rather than having to spend time and energy defending myself from a Spitfire. The Spitfire is a bit of a glass cannon, so it's often best to attack one just for the sake of attacking. Sometimes it's worth it just to rush in and disrupt the enemy team, even if you're putting yourself at risk doing so.
