we poor bro...we dont have money for rudder pedals... just barely enough for the cheapest joystick with rudder capabilities... it's really hard to master no matter the sensivity adjustments
The best strike aircraft for ec is il2 sturmovik with 23mm vja cannons. With prop tactic it literaly delete all ground targets from the map. I opened all my soviet airplanes with il2 in ec. Most enjoyable i find ju87g, i use it even in ec4 for ground pounding and it works well if we are not overwhelmed by enemy air superiority
Ah very nice, i personaly use Rockets (in WW2) only on Naval Targets. They are quite effective against Destroyers.... especialy thanks to the new Naval Damage model which is used in Sim EC.
I find the Bf 109 to be pretty good for ground pounding - I use it for quite a few of the Battle Pass challenges. It's so maneuverable and stable, you can achieve several kills in a single pass as well as defending yourself when necessary.
Ground attack takes constant practice or in battle. There was a time all I did was ground attack. Then I concentrated on going after bombers. Now I only fly fighters. Whenever I try to do ground attack now, I always end up crashing. Ground attack is something you have to stick with or become very rusty.
That's great advice, but how do I keep my plane steady enough to aim while flying on ps4 with a hotas? I can barely keep the aircraft trimmed after months of screwing around with the settings, much less aiming on zoom.
perfect and clean, great guide :) But recently the tanks model in wt sim have changed, now they are the same of RB in some maps (like sicily) and it even shows you the close up camera to see what the bullett did, so I think some things are different now
@@TeaRexChannel now they do, at least on the reworked Sicily map at 8.0_9.3. The difference is that now 20mm are useless against those tanks because they do not penetrate or they deal minimum damage. In your video they're still using the old tank models for air battles, when they use the new ones you see the xray camera when you hit them. Try a private match on Sicily and you ll see it. It's much harder to destroy them
I'm new to SIM what control do you recommend? I mean I don't need any realistic cockpit, but I'm using a mouse and keyboard now and is at least now very hard for me to hit anything.
Personally, I suggest people who use planes should use relative controls opposed to Mouse Aim, it is useful for the common play, But ultimately mouse aim has too much input for the Aircraft… How I learned Bombing is exaxtly the bottom reticule, But dropping bombs from 10 20 meters from the ground you have too much error as they may ha SPAA or may shoot you down with a tank shell. The best way to send off glide bombs is the reticule. Think of it as a paper Airplane. That bomb will glide into its target or near it, if its not moving or anticipate where the tank will have to be, But not so far that all they have to do is stop. Dive Bombing is much easier with relative aiming. You could use mouse aim, But I am used to flight control sticks…
Learned you can play ground sim and spawn in planes today.. killed 4 teammates by accident but managed a few legit kills later on.. there's no little blue tag like air sim at close range :/
Do you need joystick for simulator? I can't control my plane properly in Sim battles and not so good at controlling plane with that white dot on the screen in mouse aim.
Like the other comment, I find ww2 rockets really hard to hit anything except naval targets. They seem to have huge ballistic drop once the propellant finishes, which is almost immediately after launch!
I greatly appreciate this video for the bomb and rocket part. I've started playing Japan with no premium so I play a long time only Japan for rank 1-5 (like 2 years) and Japan dont have CAS, so no bomb/rocket apprentissage. Now that I've almost finished japan ground and air, I go for almost all ohter nations, its been incredibly hard to learn from scratch with no info on how to play bomb/rockets :o Now I can rekt people with my Tiny Tim and some other bombs :D
Can you do one of these for jets please with what button binds we should be using? An also I just wanna say you're my favorite warthunder content creator, big fan of this channel and Rex's hangar. Lobe the work you do let me know if I can do anything for you god bless you!
Excellent guide. My biggest problem is actually making out GTs from the air, which due to my eyes is really hard. This definitely helped with my getting GTs when I actually DO see them
