Fucking beautiful edit. Soviet tech, be it in aesthetics or in idea, is really cool in my opinion. I always found it tragic that such amazing power was in the hands of tyrants and despots, instead of wielded for the sake of their people and the sake of mankind.

@@Veanixonn_ I'd imagine some soldiers did fight to protect their home, but there was another thing. if you retreated, u'd just be shot. im not saying no soldiers fought for their home, just maybe not every soldier did.

@@UnfunnyHistoryNerds Take Leningrad as an example, order 227 was not initiated yet and the people still fought despite the lack of food and the German superiority. Moscow was the same, people keep saying that the USSR won only because of their numbers and Winter but in the Defense of Moscow in 1941 the weather was not that cold and bad how people say, also the Germans had 2 million man and the USSR only 1 million. Soviet Union won because of the amazing generals they had, not like stupid Stalin who didn't know anything about war.
