the first 7-4 playthrough is an experience i cant get back, the absolute scale of this thing youre climbing on, all while some desolate ost plays as you reach the empty city on its back, devoid of all life, before going in and the pure toneshift of the adrenaline rush that is the entire interior experience.

Honestly, calling this "The VIOLENT Mix" fits so well. It's like if War Without Reason followed the same instruments as the other songs of the violence layer, while still being the machine-based boss level that it is.

I absolutely love this. I was so happy when I fought the Earthmover for the first time, bc it reminds me so much of Metroid. Especially the escape sequence, and the fact that one might interpret the 1000-THR to be M-THR when you fight its brain. M-THR's Brain = Mother Brain. IK Hakita said it was meant to be Sen-THR, but both the Roman and Japanese interpretations are applicable when the allusions line up just right
