LTjg. Dale "Tiger 3" Berven (Ret.) talks about flying the F9F Panther over Korea. Dale ventures back nearly seventy years and recounts memories of jet fighters launched from hydraulic catapults and recovered on straight deck carriers. This is my first interview, please forgive me if I am a bit informal but the history is too priceless to stay locked away. This is the first of what will hopefully be a few "Warbird Stories" of aviation friends of mine and will complement my "Warbird Engine Starts" and "Flight Aboard A Warbird" series.
