The electric foam airplane has completely taken all the engineering and true pilot skills from this hobby. Everyone is a pilot today. But those same electric foam pilot’s wouldn’t dare go near such a beautiful plane like this. And that landing spot on. Beautiful work. In my opinion even a turbine cannot beat that sound.
Wow! That is one heck of a rare bird, limited production run I think. Very nice. In fact I've never seen a nicer Wildcat. Really enjoyed that my friend. He flew it very well and the sound is of course amazing!
Absolutely gorgeous. Perfect scale flying, loved the slow fly by's - and both landings were complete greasers! Top notch! Sounds like there is something catching in that gear though!
One more thing you can flat spin and hover an edge or extra all day long. It still does not compare to a scale warbird with the right pilot. Great job.
@@WarbirdPiLOT I actually know Noel Gayler’s daughter- check out what he did with his F4F, all before Midway- THREE Navy Crosses in 6 months. He was one of Butch O’Hare’s wingmen. During the Battle of Coral Sea, Noel dove off the sinking Lexington’s flight deck after the abandon ship order, but then noticed his squadron mates were still on deck, so he swam back and climbed a rope back onto the flight deck…oh yeah. He ended up as the Pacific Fleet Admiral in 1975
Hi there, unfortunately we don't have that kind of info, but would guestimate top speed to be about 150mph and service ceiling stops when you can't see it anymore 😁. It really is a great hobby, you should check it out 👍👍
Great looking wildcat. Excellent attention to detail so, why have the 9 year old neighbor kid do the paint and insignias? It is worth something close to accuracy.
Unfortunately we are not all artists, and this is supposed to be a replica of airplanes from ww2, do you think they were polished every night? They were worn and oily, just like this one...
@@WarbirdPiLOT No excuses, if you put in the effort to make it fly well, and perform properly, put in the effort to make it look proper as well. No running paint , correct size insignias and their placement, proper spacing on the bars on the Rudder, just basics. You would repaint your Lamborghini with a roller and brush would you. There’s plenty of documentation out there to make it accurate.
NEVER UNDERSTOOD WHEN PEOPLE DO THESE VERY NEAT R C MODELS AND ALL THEIR INVOLVED WORK AND THEN DON T SHOW OFF WHAT THE MODELS CAN DO EX. A SLOW AND LOW FLY BY AND 😊LOWERING THE LANDING GEAR😊 WHEN ABEAM OF THE CAMERA THOSE KINDS OF LITTLE TOUCHES WOULD MAKE PEOPLE GRIN EVEN MORE AND MIGHT EVEN GET MORE SUBS GOOD LUCK HAVE FUN HAVE SUBD
