Single target straight up damage build can get countered easily. I guess you're lucky the guys that could do it got killed early. Stuns + bashes would be the end of you. So would illusions. And Finger of Death + refresh. The demon hunter player decided to compete with crits after you had a head start and the flesh golem guy had pretty much given up considering his build.
It only worked because his enemies are bad. I mean very bad. I can think of several strats to counter him off the top of my head. The whole idea of not using your max skill limit is a waste of potential. For example he said he is stacking his crit, which is okay. But he fucked up on that front as well. If he had gotten Command aura as well that would have been another multiplicative bonus that will always be at least twice as good as any amount of tomes he put into it.
That map is kinda weird with me, near round 15 (30 in long mode) the enemies come with absurd dmg spells so even if i have 99% armor they near insta kill me
Ye. Sometimes the dmg is really high, but you need to play a little more to understand the map, I never had 99% armor and i think is very hard to get that armor but i don`t know, they might hit you with Finger of Death; That spell at level 20 deals 10.000 dmg
Phi today i Played all random and i get infernal and lifesteal aura and some other good skills but infernal had 85k hp and 6+k haos dmg and i oneshoted my enemes xD
From what i know, there is not something like this, i don`t use discord and when i try to find a game i just wait for someone to make a room or I make it myself
guys please i need your help, i used to play war3 via Garena and it does not work in my region anymore, i need something like that easy to join, view games and notifies when the game starts. please advise.
Yes, but armor doesn't influence damage reduction in %, only in hp points, right? Even Archimond with divine armor type had 95%. It was 1% less, then you had here. "What trickery is this?" O_o
I though that damage reduction is referred to enemy attacks like this, if i have 95% armor reduction and he attack me with 100 damage i will receive only 5 damage because 95% is reduce, i don`t know for sure i will research
% damage reduction - yes. You are absolutely correct. But I don't understand why would that work like that? As far as I know actually in this video (Battle Royale), you have 297+68=365 armor, so it means that if Brutillus hits you with 380 damage, you get actually 380-365=15 damage. And yes, 365 is 96% out of 380, but I don't see reason for 96% reduction of higher damage. Looks like something was about programming of this particular map. Probably it's just a bug, or it's like hidden bonus for using only 2 skills out of 6 available? Otherwise it's total OP and other videos with Dark Ranger show that she can be easily killed, so looks like she doesn't always have %-based reduction. Here are standard percentage damage reductions in warcraft 3, which normally are not influenced by stats: classic.battle.net/war3/basics/armorandweapontypes.shtml Which shows that normally heroes get 100% damage from other heroes.
I don`t know for sure but what you say is very interesting, and I think you are right. The part with hidden bonus for 2 skills i don`t believe it. Is something about the programming of the map. It is the same case in mine because i hit brutillus with 9.6k crit so in like 2-3 hits he should be dead, even though he have some skills that are reducing the dmg that he receives, still i think something is about that armor.
@@TheBronf Pretty sure that attack speed caps at 400% of the hero's normal attack speed. And since each agility point gives 2% attack speed, endurance aura would actually be objectively worse than command aura.
my original post was to the first commander. he was asking for command aura on why not use it since the uploaded responded to that it only works on melee. i thought he was thinking of endurance since that can still be used on the dark ranger. i was not saying anything about it being better or worse just asking if that was what he meant to say.
