now that is a shocker, here i was expecting another scourge of lordaeron campaign and instead we get this pleasant surprise, well time to see where this goes

37:30 follow the journey of the heroic bloodelf worker, rushing to the front line together with one Myrmodon... while the others Myrmodons are stuck forever on the bridge he pokes with his hammer undead units and buildings.

Happy to hear a version of the winter theme from Heroes of Might and Magic 2 during the cutscene around the 7th minute mark :D!

Damn, I really admire your dedication to the Blizzard games man, even though I only play WC III. But still, having a comfortable and relaxing tuesday and friday evening has been a blessing for surely 5 years now. Love you man!

-the map starts pretty slow on purpose so you can learn about the new tech/units, the goal was to keep vanilla stuff more or less the same but make nagas more like other races (2 different damage upgrades, tech requirements etc) + exploring at your own pace (but beware of anubarak flanking you while creeping) -some stuff seem to not work on your version : I'm really bummed that music AND sounds don't play at all for you during cinematics for some reason, which completely undercuts their impact & the custom naga buildings should have the same building animation with the water tentacle as the others but it doesn't show -I'm not sure what goop jay is talking about ? Floating ice ? -the nerubian ambush is just for flavor, and is telegraphed by the MANY skeletons on the ground - maybe I should make them drop an item so it's less confusing ? -sniping the undead building with turtles from the sea is a valid tactic, personally I like to make a diversion on the other side at the same time and it works great with only 3-4 turtles -ice rock gates are just to hide the ugly vanilla cliffs for the cutscene -a shame Jay didn't use the new spell of the sirens : he was casting healing spray every time (don't remember the hotkey) -I'm happy Jay found the easter egg right away so he didn't get grumpy about it ^^ -the original was literally my 2nd map ever, so yeah, messy and super cramped

Yay, finally got its turn to shine (plus for once I'm ahead of the schedule, already played). I must commend Jay for being able to spot the missing stuff easily (hints are as useful as they are funny). Them easter eggs, you'll def love them all (I didn't catch all the references tho, tho knowing Jay, he'll fill in the blanks for us), and they aren't hard to find, AND they give you a few strong rewards later if all found. As for blood elf naga combo, they all have useful new units, yet they will be separated in few later missions. Just get some snacks for future missions and you're all set.

Love the new cinematics also this brings backs so many memories

interesting music choices so far, i hear that some of em are actually from a rather unknown game called sacred 2 (and maybe 1) that i used to play

While everyone else is surprised that this got updated and it palys well, I get distracted by the music from other games, of which I seem to identify at least HoMM3, one of the King's Bounty games, Drakensang (Not the online one) and, most notably for me, Sacred 2. Gods, may be one of the few ones that even remembers it, hopefully the music makes people seek it out eventually.

A great job of Armelior_is_back, I played it a while ago and it's really excellent.

If I remember correctly in the original you only needed to buy a ship so you could technically circumvent the base altogether and win in the beginning, lol. Nice that it was changed to have to destroy it.

Okay, idk if anyone else noticed at the start of the cinematic fight where they attack Arthas that a naga and elf rider were fighting another naga.

A reanimated version of a 15 year old campaign. Now that is something spectacular. Honestly I kinda like this new take on the story, rather than what happened in WoW. Just my opinion though, WoW will always be a great game with a great story.

Did anyone tell Jay he was using the healing spray of songstresses instead of the actual ability he wanted to use on the enemy?

Campaign is fun and interesting to watch, I just wish someone would proofread the text. Like, I don't blame the creator for not being a native speaker, we all make mistakes, but for me it would totally take me out of the moment to see multiple grammar and spelling errors in every piece of dialogue.
