WELL. I was taking a look at this map on World Editor, and discovered they originally used the hooded Shandris model, and added a trigger to change her to regular archer. Why ? Idk. But in lore, Shandris came here for only a moment and then got back to Nordrassil where she then joins the battle.

I always held the view that with the night elven army early on your meant to kite your enemy, only later one when you unlock mountain giants and druids of the claw do you actually engage the enemy head on.

Invaders started destroying her homeland and killed a venerable member of their society, so she mobilized her warriors to push them out, there's nothing ridiculous about it. She didn't know that the Legion had returned at that point, nor did it matter to her in the end. As Malfurion says in the last mission, the NElves had defeated the Legion in the past and they'd do it again if they had to. Cenarius demonstrated this attitude as well ("I've defeated your kind in ages past and I shall do so again!"). Could they have done it on their own? We'll never know, but at least that's what they seemed to think. That's why Tyrande refused to ally with them when Malfurion suggested it.

Really? Imagine ur the leader of the immortal 10,000+ elves. You've lived a peaceful life, then some green and pink upstarts start demolishing your homeland that threatens ur safety. Then here comes your mentor Cenarius who was overpowered in combat and slain. Tbh, the night elves have every right to be bitchy towards the orcs and humans. As well for "dumb" thing, Tyrande only did what she believed was right for her people, elves are very introverted and have that"im higher than u" personality and value. There is no chance they will negotiate with someone who is already their enemy, as for Cenarius... Grom had killed a bunch of night elves before encountering him, no need for talk just fight.

Nelves seemed to have forgotten the race of the ONLY person who dealt a mortal blow to Sargeras himself. Yes, Broxigar Saurfang was a green orc.
